Aptamil Sensitive Infant (0-12m)

This formula has caused significant issues for our 12w/o baby - severe bloating and discomfort, really gassy and trouble passing gas, dark brown and foul smelling stools. Don’t recommend this product.

Changing Formula – My baby starts with Aptamil gold 1 since birth and recently changed to aptamil sensitive 5 days ago. I noticed the poo has turned dark green and irregular. She also pass the wind quite a lot. This cause a little discomfort during night time, results in lack of deep sleep. Wondering if this is normal? I also didnt do a proper transition between gold 1 to sensitive.

symptoms were: -Unsettled routine/sleep- our daughter was awake for hours. We would check our camera and she would still be awake. Sometimes for 3 hours. -Very smelly gas and bloated sore tummy. Constant farting that was causing pain. Our daughter would scream until her face was red. She wouldn't just fart once it would be multiple times in a row. It was really distressing for her. -Poo turns dark to pale green that’s very smelly. And it would be a diarrhoea consistency. We are going to try Karicare 0-6 months.

I do NOT recommend Aptamil Sensitive. The pediatrition told us not to give sensitive formulas to babies who do not have milk allergies. Lesson learnt.

Consistent vomiting after every feed (vomits all up their feeds) then very hard to settle We then switched to Karicare 0-6 months and the massive changes that we seen in our babies have helped their tummies and their bowl movements, their gas isn’t so smelly and their poos are going back to normal yellowish colour instead of green and NO consistent vomiting!! Yay, both babies are now happy sleeping 3-4hrs instead of 30-1hr due to vomiting and sore tummies then they’re hungry again then it repeats! I do NOT recommend Aptamil Sensitive PLEASE do try Karicare 0-6 months

Worked for upset tummy – My 7 week old son was having painful wind with our old formula so after some research we decided to try Aptamil sensitive.... I'm so glad we did !! So far he has seemed so much more settled on it and not so restless with tummy pains . He is passing wind well and even sleeping better. and her suggesting aptimal sensitive we gave it a try and haven’t turnt back it suited her just fine and she was back to her happy self again.. now 7 months in and she is happy with her feeds and seems to love it and is thriving for a premmie baby. I couldn’t be happier

Great formula gentle on little stomachs – I Just had twins! Not for my baby – Used Aptamil gold after baby’s birth, tried this one for my 6 weeks old baby because I heard this one is easy to digest. after feeding 100ml, baby started to reflux, very serious reflux which lasting for 20 minutes, about 20ml come out, baby cries like crazy , don’t dare to use this premium formula again. Brilliant – This is the only formula that agrees with my sons stomach. Great formula for the price. It's gentle on the stomach and full of vitamins and minerals. Highly recommend for babies with intolerances or sensitive stomachs. Show details

Great so far – Got this Formula yesterday all though it's still early to see any issues and previously using HA with my other child, my 1 month old has taken to it quite easily and seems to enjoy the taste. and so far no throw ups just minimal spits ups now. Only small downside of it being a easily digest formula that its made him poop way more and very runny. But it beats constipation from other formulas.

Replacing Aptamil HA gold – Aptamil Prosyneo Sensitive has been created to replace Aptamil HA and is so far disappointing. My son was doing great with Aptamil HA but since he has been on Aptamil Prosyneo Sensitive he has had smelly wind and bringing up milk which he has never had or done before. enquire about the 'rebrand' of Aptail HA prior to its replacement Aptamil Prosyneo Sensitive going on shop shelves, I was told that it was the same formulation just with more probiotics added, which I now don't believe to be true. Please bring back Aptamil HA.
