Gone downhill – Used to be good but the attention to detail is gone. Things like the screensaver on a machine displaying an ad about an event from 2 months ago, machines out of order for a long time, foxtel tv channels displaying “no tv signal”, wifi no longer operational among other things. Then there’s the loud music in the central workout area, sign says it’s a legal volume but when you’re 15m away and you can’t hear your headphones over the music…. It’s too loud. If it’s cost cutting, it’s driving me away. Put up the price, I’m gone too. Plenty of other gyms around. Want to make more money? Get more members and you won’t do that with the current product.

Do not join this gym – Do not join this gym. I called to politely query cancelling my membership and the staff were rude, argumentative, defensive and the behaviour was so appalling that I don’t feel comfortable even setting foot in there. I was and still am absolutely shocked. And the only way to cancel is to pay out the remaining term in full!!!! Which now I have no choice but to do because Mirela in particular is a bully and I don’t want to go back there. I have never received such a shocking response, she wouldn’t even let me speak! Many others have taken them to fair trading, but Aquafit refuse to cooperate or take responsibility for their actions because they know that it will cost people more to fight it than to just give in. This is not ethical. They are the most expensive gym in the Macarthur area and the equipment is limited and in poor condition. You have to put weight plates under benches so they don’t wobble, the pads on the pin machines are worn and cracking, there is no space and everyone is practically on top of each other. They are a bunch of heartless thieves, do not be fooled!

Great gym – I have been to so many gyms and this is by far the best everything is always kept very clean, the staff are always so nice and willing to help out, the classes are amazing and so motivational and most important the ladies at the creche are so good with the kids my 4 yr old son loves it and being a mum I was scared he might pick up alot of germs but he has never been sick and the creche is always so clean along with the toys and all surfaces thanks guys!!!

Average equipment, overpriced, terrible service – Title says it all. Equipment broken months on end with signs taped saying they will be repaired soon. Weird smells come from studio possibly due to lack of ventilation. Pool heating has broken several times since I joined. Staff added stress to a family emergency by being completely robotic with cancellations process. I am willing to pay the contract out but they refuse to cancel my contract.

Great Gym – Have been a member of this gym for over a year now. The facility is excellent, plenty if equipment and space. Never had to stand around waiting. I find the staff from the front counter to the gym area are friendly knowledgeable and always ready to assist. And the place is always clean Equipment and space
