This review is about the USELESS and INADEQUATE, - SHAFT GUARD - The ARB person who design the system of clip-on method to keep the guard in place, has probably never seen an outback corrugated track. While the previous model shock (BP51 160023) shaft guard, was of a hard plastic, easily breaking under vibration and outback's tracks conditions, it had a clever plate with bolts which the guard could be easily intalled and secured to. The new model of guard I'm reviewing, eliminated all that; provided only with a clip-on system, to supposedly, being able to keep it in place.. may be only for a trip to the mall! It is UTTERLY USELESS, as soon as you it the track.. the clip-on system provided, will fall apart..., and you are left with two pieces of plastic flaping around, the opposite direction they are intended to be. Once the shock is installed there is no way the guard can be removed, unless, you want to cut it off. TOTALLY A USELSS IDEA!!! ARB go back to the old model of securing the shaft guard, this one is USELESS!!!
