What is happening with Arnotts Barbeque Shapes??? They used to be covered in flavour and baked perfect. All boxes this year have been over cooked browned to the point of a burnt taste and other side has no flavour. I can remember they were once covered in so much flavour and even the bottom of the packet was lined with flavour could pick up with your fingers. Quality has gone down hill so much we are talking of no longer buying them anymore. Pretty dam sad you have ruined what has been a favourite in our family since we were kids.
There used to be a flavour that had chicken in it but camels in a light blue or blue box.what was this flavour again. It was my favourite as a little kid in the 80s
Are you thinking of Dixie Drumsticks? They used to be made by Nabisco, but were discontinued in 2015. They came back in August 2021, now called In A Biskit Drumstix flavour.
Arnotts shapes deserve to be shoved in any orifice except the mouth.
I can't remember what this flavour was called, but it was a little round biscuit that was a bit puffed, and I think the flavour was chicken related. This was back in about 2008

Hi Ricardo, I think only Arnotts could tell you how much they cost to make, but they charge between $2 and $3 at Woolworths, when you can get them. Good luck with your assignment
What happened to the salt and vinegar sensations with poppy seed? They were the best shapes full of flavour and different!
Arnotts are calling the savoury shapes "original". If they are original then where are the pieces of sea salt on the top like they used to have? Anyone remember that?
I used to love the savoury shapes when I was a kid, and continued to buy them, now they are BLAND! TASTLESS! HORRIBLE!!!!
What is the 'new and improved' percentage of cheese in the cheese and bacon as well as nacho cheese shapes? Strangely enough you no longer print it on the box like you did with the old range. I suspect the new range was simply a way to cut costs but please feel free to correct me by providing the actual percentage in the new range. If it has less cheese (probably the most expensive ingredient in the entire biscuit, please also explain how they can possibly be called 'improved'. In what way exactly are they improved (apart from possibly improving your profits by making them cheaper)???. Shouldn't it be 'new and cheap' or from the overwhelming disgust for your new range possibly 'new and nasty' would be better instead.?
I honestly believe less than 10% that ate the old ones would say they have improved so please also explain how you can justify this apparent blatant false advertising?

When is the pack of 10 singles for Shapes BBQ ORIGINAL flavour coming back, the box has been back now for a while and still no sign of original 10 single pack, will NOT buy the more flavour as NO one likes adult and most importantly children? If the box can be available see no reason why the other pack can also be available, or is it the big grocery stores have excess stock of More Flavour. thank you

Apparently they were going to sell both at once. I think IGA and independent supermarkets would have the,. The original flavour they have is savory. But they haven't changed the chicken flavour just the packaging. Also reject shop may have them
Actually, I must correct Nathan. The Chicken Crimpy Shapes have certainly changed. They have a weird after-taste now, and kind of coat the inside of my mouth with something... and not in a pleasant way. Inspecting the boxes side by side, you can clearly see completely different ingredients listed between a box bought a couple months ago, and a box bought a couple weeks ago. I can normally go through a box of Chicken Crimpy Shapes in one sitting. The box i bought 2 weeks ago was still sitting on my desk a week later. This week, I tossed it out. If I had actually let a box of Shapes sit on my desk for a week, I was seriously intent on not wasting kilojoules on them, so I just got rid of them.
The barbecue shapes still come in their boxes with a big black strip on the side saying ORIGINAL as if begging the empty aisles to buy them. Arnotts made a biig mistake. (Btw barbecue is the only one that still comes original)

As a treat for myself after working 6 days, I buy a bottle of my favorite of wine and a packet of Barbecue Shapes and I sit and listen to the footy, life is good. On Saturday I followed my usual routine, nestled in, poured the wine opened the fresh new packet of shapes and POW! What the hell is going on!? What have you done? How much of a bonus did you pay the "genius"....NOT who changed the taste!!!! I'm aghast, bereft and upset!
My question is: how do I get my money back and where can I get the original product?

Yep i agree with u... sit down with a drink and shapes and watch footy!! but the shapes, the get the only decent flavour u have to buy them of ebay! selling them for like 100 bucks or something, n wot a waste cuz the biscuits r gross!!
Oh my goodness... I love horror movies, i never get scared... I've seen the shining, i've seen some SCARY movies, none scared me... THIS? This is one scary box of death! So would someone...(breathes in) like to remind me of the mouth watering flavours we had? I'm actually very sad and craving a box of savoury shapes... But, now? No thanks! So, one question, WHY?

What has happened to the flavour of Arnotts Shapes? Nacho cheese is missing two thirds of the topping. Do the manufacturers really believe that consumers are stupid? No, we are not! Yes, we do notice when you substantially alter the flavour of a product and we do know that there are other products to purchase other than Arnotts shapes.
I totally agree. Maybe they're trying to reduce salt or something. Pizza shapes used to have the best crispy 3D flavour but now they're so plain like someone's already licked the flavour off. So disappointing! Boycott!
