Poor communication – My oven has gone haywire, elements work then stop working. Taking it in turns to work it seems. Contacted Asko for nearest service person. 6 weeks no reply, reading other reviews I guess I know why now. Show details

Stay away from this 2nd rate company, charge a premium but don't receive... Shonky grubs – We spent nearly 20k on asko gear, this oven under review, a combi steam oven, the big induction cooktop, domino cooker, and dishwasher. first oven crap itself for second time!!! Like I said same issue as last time (same fault sign) no mention of cockroaches then we have noticed a few small roaches in the last couple weeks and when the technician opened first oven that crap itself for second time months back he said you have cockroaches that's what's doing it I said what about when you attempted to fix first time for same thing and there wasn't any then. Bla bla bla, he didn't even open second oven, then lied to my face. This crap will not stick you grubs, we have all the emails from previous fixes for same problem, I will bombard Facebook about your crap quality products and shonky service tactics, call the ombudsman, fair trading, my lawyer for all the back charges of food we needed to buy when ovens not working, pain and suffering. And now I want a refund I was happy with a replacement but not now just so can go through this crap again

Nearly burned us down – Bought this lemon 5 years ago and had it replaced with new oven. Since then we have had numerous services and in past 12 months has lost control of temperature twice. While cooking at 180C it went to 300plus and lucky we got to the switch board in time. We are sending it off to the tip this week and would never buy another Asko appliance. Not recommended. Poor after sales support – I have been dealing with ASKO (and an ASKO recommended repairer) relating to repair of an ASKO OP8631S oven. I needed a relay module (F7 fault) and have been waiting for spares to arrive in Australia for just over 5 months with shipping delays due to COVID the apparent reason for the delay. available and today have advised me it’s not available and they no longer manufacture parts for that model! I can’t get a straight answer from them as to what is going on or why was I told last Friday it was available and now I’m told it isn’t. Like others, you pay a premium for an oven of this type and I was reasonably impressed with its performance and I’ve only had two blown elements before this fault. Although I did buy an ASKO gas cooktop at the same time and that was rubbish quality. The contact centre was helpful in the beginning however, once it became apparent I had been given the run around for 5 months (I don’t think the part was ever on it’s way) they have become less helpful to the point where they don’t answer my queries except to briefly keep repeating “parts no longer available” My last email to them has not been answered.

Based on my after sales experience I would not recommend ASKO products to anyone and would suggest they steer well clear of them. I’m not sure if this has anything to do with the Hisense takeover of ASKO and issues they’re having with the factory in Slovenia.

Rubbish. Not recommended. Too many issues. Poor customer service – We purchased the complete package, oven, cook top and range hood in 2015. We had display error issues with the oven since the day we purchased. After ongoing visits from the technician we had enough after 4 years and are finally being refunded by Asko. working elements. It was not an easy process to get customer service, after numerous emails and phone calls. With the amount of money we spent, poor product and customer service, we would have been better off buying a brand that was thousands less.

Poor Quality – Would not recommend buying an Asko oven. We paid over $2000 for an oven to last 18 months, what absolute rubbish. I was preheating the oven, then opened the door to put the food in and the oven went completely dead. How convenient that it is now out of the warranty period. I would stay as far away from this brand as possible. Show details

Love it great looking and functional – The oven is easy to use and packed with features looks great and heats up super quick. Has recipes on the oven as well as suggestions tips totally self cleaning and many other cool things. The bad is We had to replace the element only a year after purchase for the cost we expected a little more longevity but that problem was fixed by a local trades person for $300 I still think it's the best oven.

Not as marvelous as we were lead to believe – I wouldn't recommend an Asko oven to anyone. We were lead to believe this was the be all to end all ovens. We were sung a song! We have had the oven for 3 years and it has had at least one issue a year which needs a service tech to fix. It's just broken down again (just before Xmas - not happy Jan). tech to come and fix. When you pay over $3000 for an oven you would expect it to out perform any oven. Our last Westinghouse oven never missed a beat and was 25 years old - only replaced it when we renovated the kitchen.

I also would have expected better service after shelling out that kind of money - never again!!!

Asko Ovens - Avoid as can't be fixed – Avoid buying any asko product as if something goes wrong you can't get it repaired. For ovens they do not keep stock of spare parts as i was advised by the service technician. There customer service department do not call you back and just completely ignore you. Asko were average to deal and not super helpful, which I would have expected after purchasing an oven worth $3,499 plus a cooktop worth $2,799 but I haven't had any after care or precare service nor have I had any followup service and I called them 2 weeks ago with a query. The delivery guy was excellent though! I figured out the issue myself but the oven speaks for itself. Outstanding Product. This oven is the perfect oven - PERFECT!
