Hi,
I have the Asko iChef Oven OP8631. When using the pyrolyric cleaning function, do I have to take out all the racks first?
Hi :) The stainless steel racks need to be taken out, you can gently pull them out of the clips on the inside of the oven. You then need to replace them with the brown enamelled racks that came with your oven. You can then slide in the trays. And follow the directions on the control panel. I use P2 usually. Hope this helps.
We have bought two Asko ovens, is it possible for a rep to come to our home to show me how to use them ?
That's what they did for me - they came out and showed me how to use everything so helpful
That's good to know, thank you. Hopefully I'll get the same result ;-)
I am considering buying 2 Askco ovens (Pyrolitic models) and wonder what commitment will there be if something goes wrong? Also will they come to our house if we do not live in a town where there is an Askco agency? I see some have had blank screens is this usual or normal?
Dear Rob,
If you could kindly advise which town you live in I would be happy to look up your closest agent. Please email your details to feedback@asko.com.au and I will look into it for you.
Kind Regards,

I bought an Asko iChef oven about 12 months ago. Recently I had to have it replaced as there was a problem with a grommet inside the oven. The display on this oven goes blank after 10 seconds when not in use, rather than display the time. We have been told that this is what the new model does. Is this correct?
Ours is always blank unless it's in use
