Hi. We have bought a house with an asko OP8651 oven. It is in terrible condition dition and I’d like to buy new trays and racks as well as replace the telescopic slide. Any advice on where to source? Also, is it possible to remove the door to clean? I’ve removed the glass panels but not the actual door.

I have bought this oven second hand and cannot work out if it has the Pyrolysis function or not. The manual suggests that it does, but the symbols suggest otherwise. Can someone please confirm if this function is available on the OT8601IS? Thanks Sue.

PS. I agree with Churchmouse that the manual for this model is far from adequate…..

How do i stop my clock display from disappearing?

Hello we have a op8651. We have had the oven for a while now and it has been great. I put it through the cleaning function last night and when it finished it did not unlock the door. It seemed to go through all the functions correctly. I isolated the power to the unit this morning hoping it may reset it but it is still locked. Any ideas?

I have an ASKO op8650 and would like to move the grilling bars from the top of the over so I can clean underneath them. But nowhere in the pathetic instructions does it tell you how to do this! Possibly this is one of the worst instruction manuals ever to have been photocopied (yes - that's all we were able to get!)

Can you help me with this? Thanks!

Hi Churchmouse, Apologies if the manual has not been helpful. Could you please advise if you are referring to the top heating element of the unit? If that is the part you are referring to then sorry it is all connected with wiring, its not meant to be removed to clean the top cavity. When the oven is cool you can wipe by putting your hand through the spaces of the element to clean the top of the cavity. I agree. I also have bought this oven and tried reading the instructions which are limited. For example it doesn't tell you how you can cook more than one dish n the oven. What do you do if you want to also cook another dish at the same time? What adjustment to temperature and shelf is required?
