mine it was 14 hours difference. On manual time, it drifts. So bad if you wan timers set for your pool to use cheaper electricity. After spending a lot of time with the online service people who only use iOS to verify it worked, they finally said it will be fixed in an update (they removed the feature). Push notifications do not work either, so if you are considering this for the smarts, look elsewhere.

Finally, one of the PH sensor batteries has gone flat after 19 months. That is ok, however the Halo BT is glued shut so the user cannot replace, and only a 12 month warranty. The cheapest retailer has one for $479. There is also the ORP sensor which will have its bettery go soon for a similiar price.

Problem free Halo Chlor System – I have replaced my Chemigen D10 system with the Halo Chlor 25 system. I could not be happier. The pool has never looked so good. to stabilizer the chlorine level with addition of some liquid chlorine. I think the acid dosing is more precise and responsive. My system runs the filter pump, and separate pump for the infloor cleaning system and a heater.

Smart home integration actively blocked – Bought this model specifically for smart home integration through Home Assistant, only to find out recent firmware updates have blocked integration. Developers should be striving for open APIs rather than closed source, there is no reason for it other than annoying customers. Device works fine otherwise, and is probably fine for users that don't want smart home integration but this has left me and many other users very annoyed. Show details

was working wonderfully, but not for over 8 months now. Support don't want to help. So I join the exodus of many Astral Halo customers selling their devalued second hand products for a more compatible replacement.

Average – Purchase a new Halo Chlorinator, probes and variable speed pump, partly on the basis that there is an open API promised and the Bluetooth protocol was open - so it integrated with other services like HomeAssistant. Latest firmware version blocks all of this and now you have to use their app - which is cutting edge for 1995. Show details

Disappointing service, product failed in 3 months – Brand new Halo system commissioned in October, dropped $5k on the full Halo setup with variable pump and probes. One of the probes has died 3 months in. Contacting Astral/Fluidra I was advised it takes 3 weeks to get a RESPONSE, let alone repair or replacement. UPDATE: Issue was rectified within 2 weeks after escalating. Customer service giving out incorrect information. Still disappointed that a product that should last years only lasted months.
