I can type and then seconds later the words appear .. its not fun and for the key board YUK. Battery life dreadful too and always running out. and its very hot to handle am worried on aircraft that it will catch on fire....

BUY SOMETHING ELSE – I am not impressed. Mine is about eighteen months old. Nothing but trouble and now $375 to fix problems and replace the battery. The warranty hardly covers anything that goes wrong with these machines. Show details

Super thin and light 14' laptop – I needed a new and highly portable (~1kg) laptop for work. This is exactly the one. It runs relatively quiet, even when my kid plays some graphic intensive games. The mouse pad can easily switch to number pad mode, which is handy when working with numbers. A not so good thing is the lack of old-school 3.5mm headphone jack, but the included adapter usb-c to headphone jack can do the trick.  Show details

Just what I needed – Needed a new personal laptop mainly for browsing, emails and streaming. This is perfect so far and battery life has been great. I love how sleek it is and the lilac colour is subtle but nice. It's quite light so its easy to move around with it. The fan can sometimes get a little loud for me but it's not really much of an issue. Show details

great allround laptop – I picked this laptop due to the specs and the compact size. It seems to be very well made and have a good selection of ports (2 x thunderbolt ports). boot and good processing power * Premium materials and solid feeling (compared to plastic some other brands use in similar models) * Solid feel Keyboard and trackpad/numberpad * MIL-STD-810G U.S. military standard for reliability and durability (hopefully we will not need it but just in case it drops etc.) * Reasonably priced

The only downside I can think of is that the shiny outside (we have the pine grey model) is a fingerprint magnet and my son is busy cleaning it all the time :)

(awesome feature) - big screen but small compact laptop.

I like the Touch/number pad and fast face login features.

The bottom of laptop gets pretty hot with best performance and quite a loud noise but I lower its performance, it is all good.

Overall looks impressive, only time will tell in regards to the battery life and durability, but given the Asus brand hopefully that shouldn't be a problem!

Good fast laptop for WFH – Purchased this laptop to do WFH. It's met all my expectations, its very light, great on power, and is similar in size to a 13.3" laptop but with a 14" screen. The lid does seem to pick up fingerprints very easily. I really like the number pad option, its not as good as a USB numberpad, but fantastic in a pinch. Show details

Dell laptops. When this ASUS laptop arrived a couple days later, I was surprised how light and solidly built this laptop was. For such light weight, I expected to be feel a bit like plastic, but it was very well built in a metal body.

It boot up very quickly, and have very good performance for everyday office/browsing tasks. I am very happy I bought this laptop. I am now thinking maybe I should keep this laptop for myself, and hand my old one to my kid's for his school BYOD. :)
