Avoid known defective main board – great idea but the defective main board issue will leave a sour taste in your mouth. 1500 to fix and the defect shows up in 4 years so No warranty. When using Illustrator or other designing tools it’s amazing how the toolbar automatically come to the secondary display.

Multitasking is fluid and intuitive to use all whilst providing immense value when using the laptop. Pair that with an i7 cpu and 16gb of ram and it’s simply unrivalled.

My only concern is that the secondary display is sometimes hard to see under particular lighting angles. However, a simple readjustment of either myself or the laptop is able to fix the issue.

Overall, this laptop is a beast and I find myself using the secondary screen much more than I originally thought I would. Great job with this laptop Asus.

Pros: - Great battery life - Duo screen is efficient for multitasking - Headphone jack (thank you ASUS for keeping this!) - Powerful performance

The only downside that mostly bothers me is the brightness of the ScreenPad 2.0, it is definitely dimmer and it can be sometimes difficult to see in certain environments.

Cons: - ScreenPad 2.0 is rather dim - Reduced size of the keyboard (however, I believe this can be easily adjusted to over time)

Overall, this laptop is powerful, light, efficient and the build quality definitely meets my expectations. I will most likely be purchasing from ASUS again.

However, if your prepared to deal with those small compromises, this laptop is simply a game changer and is amazing that they managed to fit the screen pad on a 14 inch laptop! For photographers, having a color accurate high quality screen is incredibly important. This is one area that many manufacturers do not pay attention to. Asus knew the market they wanted to cater to, and made sure the panel was Pantone validated for creatives. I could also fit my Adobe Premiere Pro timeline down the bottom screen, and work off the main screen for the preview video, so it makes working out of home even better! Battery life is quite good as well topping out at about 10 to 11 hours of general use with BOTH screens.

Overall, this laptop is one of the most satisfying purchases I have made. Only a few laptops I've bought have stood up. Maybe the XPS 15 comes close but given the choice, I would pick the Zenbook Duo over anything else for my line of work.

port Macquarie where I purchased the laptop 'misplaced' the stylus. not asus fault but sad that I paid 2grand for a new laptop missing parts. so wouldn't recommend that store but would definitely recommend the laptop.

Productivity machine – The small keyboard/mousepad combination aside, this is a great machine. I was skeptical at first if it was worth buying however I do not regret my purchase at all. Only two days in and I am already feeling more productive, being able to juggle numerous tasks in much less time than other laptops I have owned. My New Laptop!! – I've been a fan of ASUS, I am replacing my old ASUS to this! and opened the box today and Yay finally i can watch my movies, whilst checking my email etc as I have two screen, I can even split it further if i wanted to! its quite light, very portable, can multi task. my only wish is that it was 1T not 500Gb, also touchpad of course is not as good as their normal one screen pc. over all i like it :) Show details

This is great, Love the Screenpad – I am using this for research and academic purposes, the screenpad and touch screen allows me to have multiple screens open which is perfect for referencing. Amazing piece of hardware – Have been using the laptop for about a week now. Internals are relatively high end so no surprise that it functions well (no gaming) but I'm very impressed with the build quality and attention to detail in the hardware design. Multi Tasking Heaven – This laptop is a game changer and unique with the dual screen all in the one laptop. Duo Monitor, Perfect to use – I bought this laptop for school after some research. The sleek design and lightweight feature makes it easy to carry around. keyboard needs getting used to and the mouse situation is not ideal (definitely get an external one) but there truly is nothing like it on the market. Weight is ok for what you get, and the battery life is ok but you really gotta try and make it last.
