This is simply a good buy – I have experience with many low end/entry level bluetooth and tower speakers and have found AudioSonic speaker towers to be good value for money, they put out more base Db than comparable brands due to the mix of a low base speaker with a mid range in the mini model you are talking about. It always has a big brother option (TSB-14650) is the 2017… Read more

release. It retails around the $80 to $100 mark, a step up from the little one at around $20 but it boasts 4 x 2inch midrange speakers along with a 4inch low end base. It puts out ample sound. has the required features and will still working as it came in 10 years time due to the simplicity the electronics used in its build. Keep the stand away from water and dust it of regularly and it will serve you well. You guys do realise the small one you have bought is designed for the 6 to 12 year old age group? AudioSonic release thse 2 products yearly mostly the update is cosmetic, the theory of their sound remains. The Charge cord input "falling inside" is something that is not a common issue, this type of connection is used in hundreds of applications from speakers to printers, I do realise a lot of products are built with compressed board not solid core. I would think once the 2 pin cord is attached to an appliance it remains in place as it is AC dependent. The power at the mains unplugged used if there is a need to disconnect it (this is in the precaution instructions). It would take a fair bit of force to fall inside, however it is not IMPOSIBLE or difficult to fix if you have screw driver and hair dryer to heat the glue under the control panel so to carefully remove it as there are wires attached to the motherboard that are short, but there is enough length to place it out of the way to recover the plug if its still on the wires end,(do not attempt to get inside the speaker box) if not leave it and put the wires through the now hole in the back using a alligator clip or something to stop them falling back in. Buy a connector at jaycar or leading edge and use lead free solder with flux to reconnect the wires. You will need a hard setting silicone or filler to put the plug back in place.....Plug the cord into the connector before you do this also use super glue gel once is plugged in so that it cant be removed. FYI info I bought the small one towers with LED lighting for my grandson and the TSB-14650 for my tv in the bedroom. I also bought an AudioSonic speaker that was designed to be a boom box with its 2 x 8 inch base speakers the mains, it also had LED lighting that thankfully could be switched off. It was compact at around 900mm high and had all the features the tower had and sounded great by its self. When using an aux 2 into1plugthat enables two devices to connect to one aux output the sound of both speakers together was even better.

Blue tooth suddenly stopped working – Hi, bought this years ago maybe 2015 for $15? from Kmart. It has been so good and reliable I would definitely recommend. Lately, I've had issues with Bluetooth.. When my speaker is ON, I press SOURCE, the BT button flashes for a moment then fades away leaving the screen blank. The other source options AUX and FM work fine and stay on. Do you know what might be wrong with it? Show details

Charger fell off inside – I only use mine 1 month. I have the same problem about the charger i have to wiggle and position the charger so it will charge. Another thing its Impossible TO FIX BECAUSE THE Charger port disconnect and fell inside. Waste my money. Unlikelt to recommend to everybody who is planning to buy this product.  Show details

Happy with purchase – Sound quality and reach is OK for a bluetooth speaker. Was very easy to connect as well either via bluetooth or AUX. Needs to stay plugged in though, the on/off button on top of the unit is very handy. Like the look of the unit and the controls are easy to use. Would love to have one of these in each room. They're very handy to have around.  Show details

This is so bad that it would still be a rip off for one cent. Don't buy – The sound quality was ok but the charger was a nightmare to charge. When I was first using it, the speaker ran out of battery in literally 20 seconds. It took two weeks for this to stop. If you need to charge it, then you have to get the charger in one position only. I found that putting a pair of scissors on the charger while in the charger port.… Read more

But when I was trying to charge it a few hours ago the charger port fell into the speaker!!!!! And as well as that, it is almost impossible to open up the speaker to fix it. I'm still trying to find out how to open it!!! In conclusion, this is a terrible product to buy or use as a good gift.

Mini Tower $29 Kmart – Awesome sound. Bluetooth easy too set. No batteries to worry about can play all day. Just plug onto AC. Has easy use thru AUX cable to plug any music device in as stated. Also has RADIO which is easy to set. I unscrewed the base and lay down on it side. Fantastic. Use rubbers under round base and stuck to underside of speaker. Again i found the sound perfect all function true to word.  Show details

Decent Speaker – This speaker is not portable and plugs in at the mains. You can connect via Bluetooth or plug your device directly into it. It also has an inbuilt radio and comes with a remote. You cannot stray too far before the audio starts dropping out or jumping, if you're connected by Bluetooth, so stay close by. Otherwise the sound quality isn't… Read more

bad, even as it gets quite loud. There are a few sound pre-sets you can select off the remote.

For $30 its not a bad speaker.
