Aura Home Maison Vintage Sheet Set – I love these sheets. I have three sets now, 1xNude, 2xHazelnut. Going through that time.........I can't stand heavy sheets and find that our usual cotton are too heavy forever throwing them off and on again. These are so light, 160gsm, haven't overheated and sleep so much better now. Husband also likes them. They aren't the softest before washing (use cold delicate wash as one lot of pillowcases shrunk when on a warm wash!), though find them comfortable to sleep on now. You'll see on their site, so many of us are happy with these sheets. I bought all sets when on sale as too expensive for us at full price.

Horrible texture and colour – These sheets are described as white but are actually very yellowish, not even off-white. I wanted to use them with a new white and light taupe doona cover, but they are so yellowy that they look awful next to an actual white. In addition, they have a horrible lumpy, clammy texture which I've never experienced before. They are 55% linen & 45% cotton, so I expected them to be the same fabric as a light blue Aura doona cover I have which is also 55% linen & 45% cotton, but they're completely different. They feel coarse and cheap, like hospital sheets.

Having bought three excellent sateen sheet sets and other bedlinen from Aura in the past, I was confident that I would be happy with these. But I just want to throw them out. I've had to buy a Sheridan set to replace them.
