Just had a call with lovely Mystique! (I think that was her name?) (16th May 2025, about 1pm AWST). If her boss is reading this, she did amazing. Very fast, efficient, professional and bubbly, like all of Aussie Broadband's staff have been. You can either text 'em or give 'em a call, either way you won't be waiting too long and someone will… Read more ·  1

always answer with amazing professionalism. Hats off to Aussie BB, the best decision I've made this past year was switching to these guys. <3

Aussie Broadband refused to acknowledge failure of their 4G service for some mobiles – I would be interested to know if anyone else who has a 4G mobile and has been caught by the cessation of the 3G network? A few years ago I bought a mobile which was a 4G mobile. Just over a month ago it stopped taking or sending voice calls. This situation has persisted for over a month now and when I first contacted Aussie BB they incorrectly… Read more

denied any responsibilty. I now know that the problem arised because they use the Optus network and so I have now taken action with the TIO as they are refusing to re-imburse me.

I had no alternative but to change my mobile service to TPG but my wife was able to remain with Aussie Broadband.

Best service ever! – Reliable connection for TV, computer and phone. All issues dealt with in a speedy manner. Regular maintenance is more than satisfactory. My best experience dealing with a teleco ever in over 40 years. Show reply

So sad, Aussie have swapped to Optus network :( – This is an update: August 2021. Sadly, Aussie Broadband have swapped to the Optus network! Nooooo!!!! I realised this when our mobile coverage went from great to nothing. Lots of dropouts, no coverage inside our house etc. I'm so sad because their service was 5 star and awesome reception using Telstra network. Google the Optus 5G coverage map… Read more

and you'll see a surprisingly honest map of how crap their coverage is.

Why oh why Aussie :( You've broken our hearts! ________________________________ Original review: We have tried every mobile phone Telco out there, and Aussie is such a relief to deal with! We started with Telstra a million years ago, but we got tired of the 24 month, super expensive plans and rude customer service. Swapped to Optus but suffered with hopeless connection (our house was in an Optus "black spot", with constant outages and crossed wires. I had to stand in the street to make clear calls, and I live in metro Perth by the beach!) .

I was actually scared to swap to Aussie! You get used to telcos holding you hostage in Australia, and fear you'll never escape. They trap you into contracts, make you wait on 45 minute customer service calls and make you pay for services and speeds they don't deliver on.

But Aussie Broadband Mobile are as awesome as all of their 5 star reviews! I called a free 1800 number and spoke to a friendly Aussie customer rep on Monday, who sent out 4 sims to Perth by Thursday. Swapping the phone numbers over was as simple as plugging in a code and confirming a text message. It took a total of 5 minutes to swap over 4 mobile phone numbers, while sitting at home on the couch! And finally I can make clear phone calls again!! I even made a mistake when entering my details (entered my hubby's birth date, instead of mine, duh!) and they recognised the error, called me up and and fixed it in 2 minutes. Great work Aussie!

Now we just need Aussie to open a phone store so we can buy new phones directly from them too. Keep up the great work Aussie!

Excellent service!!! Competent, friendly team of staff- outstanding experience! – We moved into our new apartment and initially connected with iiNet. For 5days we did not have connection:( after 30+ phone calls inc their technician visit also following their advice and installing a new modem - no one was able to advise us what the problem was! Until our friend recommended us to call Aussie broadband to get their advice on what… Read more ·  1

the problem may be. We’ve been working from home and have been desperate to get connection so we’ve called Aussie broadband and within one minute they were able to advise us that there is a new development (common for brand new apartment) charge that needs to be paid to Opticom which will lift the block. We immediately cancelled iiNet and signed up with Aussie broadband on the same day and within an hour we got our network. Staff at iiNet were nice people however after speaking with close to 8 different agents based in the Phillipines and South Africa- no one were able to advise us what the problem was. Whereas with Aussie broadband, not only the staff were so so so professional and friendly- they’re competent! Shannon knew straight away what needed to happen! My husband and I kept on saying to each other only if we knew about how amazing Aussie broadband are- we would not have wasted hours and hours having useless conversations with iiNet, wasting our money in getting a new modem and waiting around on hold at night time draining our energy and emotions!!!! I would be highly highly highly recommending Aussie broadband to anyone who wants to deal with competent team based in Australia. Shannon from sales and Vicky from tech in particular were fantastic!!!

Thank you for the zero drama – As a previous customer of Telstra for over a decade, I won't even start on that nightmare. What I will say is that after a decade with Telstra and their absurd prices and beyond awful customer service reps (and the frustration of having my account manhandled by their offices in the Philippines too many times to mention) I was beyond fed-up. When a… Read more ·  2

multi-million dollar company cannot be bothered to pick up the phones, offer call backs for days on end as they were not prepared for something like COVID due to most of their customer service staff being overseas, I concluded I wasn't paying for anything - not quality connection, not exceptional customer service - I was just paying out my nose for limited internet and mobile phone service. Literally did some research and within hours was signed with Aussie Broadband.

Since making the switch over a year ago, I have had close to no issues with my new provider, Aussie Broadband. The transfer was super easy and commenced quickly. When I was having technical problems in the early days, customer service was more than happy to help for us to eventually realize there was an issue with my computer (in turn, I called a tech and got it sorted). There was one time a few months ago when I could barely get any internet for 10 days. Unlike Telstra, I was compensated/credited with zero issues or dramas by Aussie Broadband. My monthly internet now costs me $1 less than it did with Telstra, and I get unlimited usage versus an allotted amount plus no more damn 24 month contracts bleeding me dry. There are only two things I don't like about AB: the first was how the bills were formatted but that has been rectified making it more easier to understand. The second is the automatic deduction which they said I could cancel but they never have on my account. However, as I get the bill 2 weeks before it's due I just pay the bill in full with my pay cheque so I get to pay on my own time and dime which is how I prefer. As I pay early or on time, zero issues with them chasing me down for anything. I also love the fact that customer service is situated in Australia. Coming from an ESL background myself, I have no issues with folks not speaking English as their first language. However, I do take issue with individuals who work in customer service and who are not fluent in English and messing up my accounts (e.g. issuing me with $2000 cancellation bills!) because they do not read, write or comprehend English at a high capacity. Companies not only provide service, they need to provide customer service which Telstra could not provide due to their outsourcing to cheap labour to make themselves and investors richer. I like that I know I am talking to someone in Oz who has more than a rudimentary knowledge of the language and can understand and help with any issues that arise. So far it's been a great run with Aussie Broadband. Two very big thumbs up.

Was a fan... now regretting signing up with this company – As somebody who reads and relies upon reviews when making decisions as to who to give my business I’d give zero stars to Aussie Broadband if they’d let me. customer service. Recently, I signed up to receive Fetch. I went through the process over the telephone and was told it would be sent out to me shortly. After a long delay of hearing nothing (at least a week) I contacted Aussie Broadband and asked them where my Fetch box was. I was told that there was some sort of internal issue, but rest assured they fixed it, and I should get a tracking number for my Fetch box via e-mail by that evening. Nothing. I called back the next day, explained that I had not yet received a tracking number and was told again that there was some sort of problem with an ‘application’ and that they were going to have somebody working on it (this was 12 days after I initially ordered the Fetch box). Finally, today (5 days after my last call) I called to get a status update (as I have heard absolutely nothing from anyone) as to where my Fetch box was (keep in mind, I am the one that has to constantly contact Aussie Broadband to find out what is going on... I’d call, be put on hold, have to give my name, address and birthdate, explain what happened, be transferred to somebody else and have to go through the hold, identification and explanation all over again before being transferred again) and was told that it was being ‘looked at.’ I asked to speak to a supervisor who, after some delay, would only say that he didn’t know what the status was as the problem had been sent elsewhere. Nobody could explain to me what in the hell they have been doing in the 15 days since I signed up for Fetch. Nobody could tell me what they’ve been doing or why the problem hasn’t been fixed in the 5 days since my last follow up call. I don’t know about anyone else, but if I was at work and given 80+ hours to fix a problem I would have either fixed it or been fired. At a minimum I would have kept the customer appraised of the situation.

My data usage on phone – I was enquiring why I was having to top up my data every day. The guy checked with his supervisor and advised me it's me downloading things. Aussie BB offers me a $40 credit which they didn't have to and advised me it was cheaper to go up $10 on my plan than keep adding data at $20 a pop. Show reply
