Shocking experience. Total scammer. What is even worse is that many long term Ballan residents knew he was doing this and no one spoke up on the Community page yet they were having a good b**ch about him behind closed doors. They are just as bad as him. Disgusting filth, the lot of them.

as we were told it was needed to by supplies and to secure our booking to start on 1st of May. [Name Removed] has provided us with nothing but excuses lies he is sick, worker is sick, truck has broken down, busy with other jobs, cancelled numerous times, not turned up-lost count how many times he has said he will turn up but didnt. We constantly chase [Name Removed] for an update but after 6 weeks of excuses, and only has completed 10% of the job. So we have requested our refund which he agreed to pay and said will pay. He and his team only turned up twice onsite and when we requested our money back, lied many times saying he has transferred it, then said has issue with bank access code, didnt have time to go bank, we followed up many times, then he said he will sort it. came time to do the work, were a headche to deal with. Told us it will take 4-5days to finish the job. [Name Removed] initally comes across great in the call, quote and meet up onsite. He was quick to say he needed the money to buy supplies and to ensure booking start date. Austin and team also left our house a mess with mud all over alfresco & footpath-said would return to clean clean it but never did, also left a dent in our back fence and when they were only on site twice-rushed the job and disappeared the 2 times they were onsite without an update. Left the site with wood for boxing and boxed the front on 9th May, and which was left like that until we got someone else to finish job in early July (about 2months later). We had to constantly chase to find out what was happening. Kept providing us with booking dates but never commited to them. Its now going onto 3 months and he still has not given us our money back. This company is the worst we have ever experienced. We now are going through consumer affairs to try get our money back. Definitely feel like we have been ripped off & warning anyone who might think to use them. We had to get another concreter to finish the job, and they turned up as agreed and finished it in 5 days and were great. A Massive difference in experience to the lack of service and unprofessionalism, stressful and frustrating service from [Name Removed] and team.

He has taken off with our money, keeps saying he will provide refund but doesn't.

5 months on still nothing. Such an inconvenience and unnecessary thing to deal with. [Name Removed] steer clear of him he will rip you off.

Update 6th April 2025: Finally after I kept constantly on his back, I have recived all my momey back. I was not giving up after working hard for my momey and saving. It took just under 2yrs. VCAT was a waste of time for me, responded after 1 year and over a technicality of how I sent the application through, didnt help much. So I got my money back without there help. What a releief to finally move on from this crap. But its left a ripple effect of things we are now need to catch up with.

Absolute thief and [Content Removed] – As per previous reviews this person is a common thief. Again quoted fencing job, took 50% deposit and then tried to [Content Removed] more for materials. At VCAT at the moment but not holding my breath. Would give no stars if that were possible!

Biggest [Content Removed] Do not use him – He came to our parents farm, quoted us, asked for a deposit to get materials, said he dosent work weekends. Said he'll be there Monday afternoon and wasn't there. He said he'll be there this morning. We've been calling him and now he has blocked our number. Terrible person. He needs to be caught by the police. We want our money back.

We requested a refund which he did agree to but we have never been able to receive. He has now stopped answering his phone or any communication requests from us.

Since having this issue we have seen online and heard locally there are numerous other complaints against this business with what sounds like the same situation to ours occurring. He underquotes, takes deposit and then never does the work.

Do not give him any money! – [Name Removed] took 50% deposit, then kept on calling every day to ask for more money as apparently he didn't have money to buy the materials for the job. The more people report him, the police will have grounds and evidence to arrest him for fraud and save other innocent people. He'll also try to play mind games and try to manipulate you the delete your reviews. Don't fall for it. Update: We finally got our money back after 7 months.
