Haji was very quick to respond and we found him friendly, efficient and well priced. It was a small job and I doubted whether anyone would bother with it but Haji was happy to help out. I would happily use him again if needed. Highly recommend.

The Colorbond fence was installed in December, but there were repeated delays regarding the Oxworks materials. In January, I was advised multiple times that delivery had been pushed back. The contractor refused to provide the Oxworks order number. When I contacted Oxworks directly, I was informed that no order had been placed.

When I raised this with the contractor, he advised that he would not complete the job and offered a $2,000 refund, stating that $800 represented the cost of the completed Colorbond fence. The original quote did not allocate separate pricing to each component, so this approach appeared unreasonable. Nearly a month later, the area manager visited and explained that the contractor had underquoted the job and was no longer with the company. I was told that $800 reflected the “fair market value” of the completed work. However, I do not consider it fair to retrospectively apply a market rate to only part of the job when a fixed quote had been agreed.

Despite attempts to resolve the matter, there was no meaningful follow-up. I was ultimately told there was nothing further they could do. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Jim’s Fencing. A quoted price appears to offer little certainty, even after a deposit is paid, as the contractor may simply decline to complete the job. Communication was poor, delays were not properly managed, and the agreed quote was not honoured.

Unfortunately, while the contracter for the area I needed the fence replacement done was very prompt in responding and quoting, once I asked some further questions for clarification and a requote on some aspects of the original job, the contractor then declined the job, saying that he had too many jobs and had no time to return to the site to… Read more

Absolute waste of time. Jim’s fencing contractor in SE Melb, Kane made me wait quite a while for a quote because of Xmas (understandable) but the reason I waited was because he 100% made me think he was going to provide a service quite quick as he has a FULL opportunity to advise otherwise if that was the case (!) and then suddenly out of nowhere… Read more

added on another full month- said it wouldn't be until February at earliest and then twisted it around on me, then gaslit me in messages. I then said to him it was "very poor and disappointing"- Nothing abusive, and he then said he no longer wants my job. I’m currently putting in a complaint to head of Jim's. He wasted so much of my time that I have had to start all over again- he’s caused my property to be unsafe without fencing & caused other delays for me. He 100% led me to believe fencing would be prompt as I have text messages eluding to this around arranging a quote & I would have contacted other companies if I thought he hadve advised at any time that he’d take 2 months to instal my fences-he just lied. An absolute waste of time!! Extremely poor contractor & service- be warned.

Aman and David did a great job on my fence and it has added to the value of the house. Thanks Aman for all your advice and workmanship which really did take the pain out of the job. Peter C

[Name Removed] and crew took weeks to erect my fence. One Saturday took two of them to put up one panel. Can’t even keep my gates secured when open need a magnifying glass to find the holes. Still pissed off

We had Duminda from Bayswater put up our fence yesterday. He is the most professional, hardworking and friendly tradie I have ever had. This guy is an excellent fencer! Top quality and really nice guy. I can’t recommend highly enough.

Ozzy A contractor from Jim’s (TimberBond Fencing Co) was a pleasure to work with. He was prompt to coming over for a quote and starting working on our new fence early in the new year. He has done a fantastic job. Ozzy was able to accommodate some last minute changes to our fence and the new aluminum and colorbond fencing we have are great!! Highly recommend

Colorbond Fence on a slope I have just installed Colorbond fences on a sloping downhill fenceline, and it looks magnificent. You can see the workmanship and expertise involved in calculating and adjusting for the slope. David and his worker did an excellent job in just two days, fence removal included.

Juan and his team were awesome. They gave a reasonable quote and were locked in 2 weeks later. No messing about. They were professional, personable, humble and did a great job (it was a tough one). We were so happy with the guys. Would definitely recommend and will use again!
