8 months of usage and car being uncovered once a week, We often found moisture was between cover and car, mostly though where cover contacted car. So much for water protection and to our amazement the cover was noticeably thinning near the seams where it eventually split rendering it useless. By the way we purchased 2 covers for two cars everything moisture related is the same complaint apart from the fact this car in mostly in a shaded area hence no Ultra-Violent exposure all day. I suggest this is because 1 was only 5 layer and the still ok one was 7 layers maybe Remedy Have purchased 2 new covers from SHOP FOR COVERS located in the Netherlands which are a perfect contoured fit guaranteed with 6-day delivery for apart from shipping the bloody same cost as these to overrated cover from AUSTRALIA CAR COVERS or ASA Brands inc. Same experience as everyone else on here. cover started degrading after 8-9 months and by 12 months it is not waterproof, not only has it peeled off and heavily degraded, but it has created a lot of white powdery dust that has damaged my paint. I highly recommend NOT BUYING this terrible quality car cover.

Don’t confuse them with a legitimate company called Australian Car Covers. The N means a lot when it comes to quality and satisfaction. They are not a listed Australian company and have no ABN making it difficult to pursue a claim in Australia. You can lodge a complaint @ WWW.econsumer.gov to hopefully rid this company from the internet.

Fit the car well, I am happy with it – First of all I wanted to say before I brought the cover I was hesitant due to reviews I had read about the company and there product. Received my cover yesterday, fits super well on the car, like a glove. The security cable and free padlock aren't great but that's OK with me. it would be out of warranty time wise even though I have only used the cover around a dozen times it cost $300. I only use it after I have washed the car and if it is going to be left outside. Never use it if the car is dirty or in the carport. The part that shocked me was the response: “Apparently, with your cover purchased we do not offer warranty on your location. We only have the 30 day return window from thee date of purchase. So, any damage and what not after the return policy to do not provide the warranty.” (I copied this directly from the chat) I responded that this is Australia Car Covers and I am in Australia. No concern or customer concern shown.
Premium Edition NOT waterproof – Bought the premium edition as I store my bike outside - had about 10ml of rain overnight over about 10 hours, so definitely heavy. Car covers that Deteriorate before your eyes – I bought a premium outdoor cover $318 AU for a 2007 Calais International. Fit OK, looked good. 5 months later, it's absolutely falling apart. I rang these guys, sent photos I was told it was outside their 30 day return and there was NO WARRANTY. The car gets dirtier (white fibers all over it from the deteriorating cover) and it offers NO protection. Absolute Rubbish. Look elsewhere and not these Dodgey operators. Show details
Bad quality bad service – My car cover cost me $310, I bought the weatherproof one to protect my car whilst it’s in storage. One year (and 3 weeks since purchased) it didn’t withstand the weather. I was told there was no warranty and to buy another one. They use the words, elite, top quality and give themselves a 5 star rating for UV and Water protection for outdoor use. Holey Moley – I purchased what was supposedly their deluxe 7 layer cover in July 2021. Two years later the cover has began to wear away with the roof area as thin as plastic glad wrap. Australia Car Covers. I was told to send photos so they could take it up with their Quality Control Department and I'd receive a response within 24 hours! That was on the 14th December 2023 and to date, no response whatsoever. I had to take the car cover off the vehicle as I could see it was starting to damage the paintwork. Please, anyone thinking of purchasing from this Company, save yourself the money and worry!! I only wish I had read the reviews before committing to purchasing this rubbish!

perhaps only 2 layers thick. The cover did fit perfectly though!! When I made contact with Australia cat covers, they insisted that the cover is the premium type and that the size is incorrect and offered a larger replacement. Not sure what the logic is here but perhaps they expect me to us a larger cover and double the cover up until it achieves 7 layers….. I’ve requested a full refund instead.

and they said I could return it and receive my money back. They then lied about having refunded me the money through PayPal saying the problem was with PayPal. We had sent the cover back straight away. They finally ended the communication saying they hadn’t received it in time which was an outright lie and refused to refund the money and sent back the cover. I have given up trying to get my money back but have learnt a good lesson. I lost almost $500 so the least I can do is to warn others. Read the reviews on Google, not on their site, is my advice. The saga ended with us having to give the flimsy plastic cover away because no one was even willing to pay for it.
