What is the process to change my pin when I’ve forgotten it?

*Can I use the Post Office Travel card as a debit card i.e. put the relevant currency onto the card and use the funds on the card to pay for various purchases? *Would there be a charge for each transaction when money is already on the card?

Thank you

How and/or where can I change the PIN that comes with the Travel Card to a new PIN so I can remember it more easily. I see a few people have asked this question but no one has answered.

I tried it at an atm x which is an Armorguard atm, and it worked.

I changed mine at an atmx, an Armorguard atm, at a shopping centre. Other atm’s wouldn’t do it. You can Google where your nearest atmx is.

It’s best to see if it works, once you have loaded it with minimal funds first..ie get a pkt of lollies from coles and pay for it via your travel card via tap n go. Then for the next step..try an ATM and see how that goes.

My card was declined at an atm in Thailand - insufficient funds, but there is plenty on it. ATM asks for account: check, savings or debit - which should I use?

is it better to load australian dollars or US dollars onto the cash card to use on a US holiday

Rhonda

Depends if you want to lock in a favourable exchange rate. But be aware Cash passport will gouge you on the exchange either way. And don't rely on the cash passport as your only source of funds, as cash passport may inexplicably freeze your card or bounce your transfer of funds

I am getting blocked logging into my account as it doesn't accept the details which are correct and I have tried too many times 5 days ago. I am also unable to unlock the account so I cannot get anywhere. I do not know how much money I have left and I am in Europe now or how to put more money for my normal bank account into it

Please could you advise how to make a bank transfer/bpay into my Australia post platinum travel card. I have tried the app and it does not give me that option. I do not have a bpay number for the card. Your help would be greatly appreciated

I am waiting to hear back regarding my online account. I transferred money into the card but can not access. Please help ASAP

I had the same problem. It was more than a week before I successfully accessed my account AFTER transfering money to it. I had to change password several times, going through all the crap they insist on. I did eventually sort it out but I don't need that stress when overseas (or anywhere). I found that most places in Thailand DO NOT ACCEPT the card! Thankfully, I also took some cash which I changed to local currency upon arrival. I will never use the Australia Post Platinum Card again............NEVER!!!

A site that has always accepted my card for the past two years is now telling me that my provider has rejected payment. Has something changed with the mastercard??

Iam a bit worried now had purchased the Auspost platinum for a trip to Thailand next week thought as I read up on things was good idea. The concept that I was given load the card up with local currency and use it like a debit card when paying for things like alcohol and food etc.As for as I could work out from advice is do not withdraw cash with it . Now after reading the reviews I am not so sure how good my decision has been.Is there any assurances

John N.
John N.

No, there are no assurances and the card doesn't work properly. Make sure you carry CASH and Travellers Cheques in Thailand.
