AUX AM-12A4/R Questions & Answers
What is the vertical wiki due at the front? Looks like a condensate water level as it has a red bead in it. But it doesn’t appear to be connected to anything. The Manual doesn’t mention it. Maybe it is decorative??
I've wondered the same thing myself. My water tank fills up, but the indicator doesn't move. Well, that's if it is an indicator

Just wondering please highest temp & is it a heater as well?
Hi Bec, I don't remember it has heater or not. It's been long time when I got rid of this unit. Sorry
Thank you so very much for replying. The highest temp it goes is 32, but it doesn't get warm.
I need a new exhaust tube - are they available?
We couldn't find a replacement ourselves but we made one using air con ducting and appropriate sized vents. Some pine plank to block out the window. All bought at bunnings. We taped one vent to the back of the unit and it seems to be working fine
Thank you Gus! I actually went down to Bunnings today and bought some foil air con ducting and a flapped vent, as well as a roll of self-adhesive foam I plan to wrap around the other end of the ducting a few times, like a giant donut, so I've something to attach the tape onto, making it easier to stick to the machine!! Hopefully!
(If it doesn't I'll have to go back for a second vent!) Glad to know that works. :-) Had better get back for the pine plank though.
What error - P1?
Not had this air conditioner for such a long time so can't remember maybe try google
Water tank is full.
Hi there
I recently bought a second hand aux portable aircon unit, I noticed water dripping out of a small pipe at the bottom of the unit.. The previous owner didn't mention this water pipe. I've put a rubber hose like tube over it into a container. But it's leaking a lot of water into the container. Does anyone have this issue too, or other ideas around the pipe? Thanks
Hi Joane Only thing I can think of is. That water coming out of air con is normal depends how big is your container and how long it takes to fill. Water comes out because of moisture which air con suck from air and drain through that pipe. That's only thing I can think of. If it is filling up 5 liter container in 1hr. Their is something wrong. If it's not then it might be a normal thing. I am sorry I never had that problem. Hopefully this will help you.
Regards
Sonny
Hi Joanne , the pipe normally has a black bung in the end stopping the water from freely coming out.. the machine normall tells u when to empty its water tank.. then u remove the bung and drain off.. hope that helps
