Not as expected. After doing an internet study I have learnt that all coffee brewers are not equal. They may look to be the same, however not my experience. The avanti I thought to be a more sophisticated looking product gave me consistently bitter coffee. Even though the model was stainless steel it has rusted both inside and out on the bottom component (the water tank).
