Worst company and they are thieves – I made an order and i didn't receive anything for a few weeks so i called them up as i was getting notices to pay it. in 2 days they will send debt collectors. So i paid as you naturally would. I just got a call from Avon stating on the system it has been delivered. I told them i haven't received anything and i gave them time as it is closing in Australia. They will not give me my money back or any products that i ordered. AVON STOLE FROM ME. Good products but their ordering system let's them down – I wanted to order just one item, I have loads of Avon products but ran out of one specific item. assigned to a rep for a few days saying it was being processed and they would call ..... nothing. Days later I received another email saying my order had been reassigned to another rep and was being processed and the rep would call to arrange delivery ..... that was a week ago. Still nothing. In the world of overnight dispatch, free if not cheap delivery fees, I see this system as quite archaic. Avon have some great quality stuff but I think how they have tried to blend the choice of a consultant/home delivery options, its quite messy and a drawn out process.

Best products – Avon creams are wel priced and easy and fast delivery via the agents lots of offers and specials for xmas

Can't go back – I have been doing Avon for a long time and when I didn't pay on time, my account was in trouble, so I got told I couldn't go back to them, ever. Avon ripped me off. I don't wear Avon anymore either. If you want to join, just be careful and make sure you ask a lot of questions. Now I have heard through the grapevine that they are going down!!! Avon will be no more at the end of the year.

I'm one of the lucky ones! – I really like Avon. The products are reasonably priced and I love their eyeshadow quads, lipsticks, eyeliners and mascaras. case, it doesn't bother me. I have spares of my essentials stocked up in my bathroom cabinet so I won't run out. I also have always loved getting a new catalogue and browsing though it. Don't know why, but this has always been a happy little ritual for me. I wish others all had the same experience

Pros and Cons...more cons – I sold Avon on and off for about 5 years and didn't make any real profit. Between low commissions, a low buy area and costs of sale merchandise and postage all the profit I made was eaten up. There is about six weeks between catalogues, so asking a customer to wait 12'weeks for a product because you needed to hold there order until you had other orders that exceeded the $100 was necessary unless you wanted to be out of pocket for postage expenses etc. This move by Avon appeared to be calculated in order to disenfranchise reps with lower sales rates and to receive orders for their products without having to pay commission. I ended up persevering for about a year after that because family and friends didn't mind waiting for their orders but I had no choice but to stop delivering catalogues to potential customers in case I didn't get enough orders to fill the $100 minimum quota, one abusive phone call is enough when an order is placed for a birthday gift and it isn't possible to get it to your customer unless they're willing to pay another ten dollar for postage even though you delivering to their door without being charged for postage is what they have every right to expect. Yes you do get Avon products at cost price as a rep and there is potential to do well but you will probably find that most women under 40 will not buy Avon or change their skin regime easily. A lot of Chinese junk fills the catalogues and bad fashion choices in clothes shoes and accesssories, most also are overpriced. I struggled to sell what Avon had to offer to the point that I could rarely reach the $100 minimum order every catalogue.

Tried to join – Tried to join after my account went to ARL got told two years wait. No that's not true you may never get accepted again. 1 stuff up your out. Not a forgiving company.

Delivery service appalling then punished with a late fee – I am really frustrated with Avon. I have not got the time to run around after Avon when they delivered the products at the incorrect address. Avon was notified of the address change but this did not happen. pay the $5.00 late fee but not when it is Avon's fault. I received the items nearly 2 weeks ago as the Avon products were delivered at the old address. Avon products had to be redelivered to my new address. When I tried to pay for the items I was hit with a late fee. It is pointless trying to contact Avon because the response will be nil. So, I have sent a money order after a lack of response from Avon. Avon's products are excellent but service is appalling. As a result, I have decided I no longer wish to continue buying from Avon until their service is sorted out.

Poor Delivery Times – The products are excellent and as a distributor, there are some perks in relation to discounts and free products when you meet sales targets, but Avon are really slow to deliver. is. Avon do not provide tracking numbers either. I am a relatively new distributor and it is really frustrating waiting for products to arrive, especially when you buy gifts for family and friends interstate over 2 weeks in advance and they haven't arrived before you depart.

Slow but convenient – Avon can be a very convenient way to purchase, particularly make-up - if you can find a good Avon rep! definitely recommend Avon.

Like anything, some products can be a bit gimmicky, but there are some great products at a good price, and some good present ideas on special. You can return items if you're not happy and get your money back so not much to lose. Overall worth trying out if you are into your make-up.

catalogue but it seemed to fall on deaf ears and they weren't the slightest bit interested...the rep then very reluctantly said she would find me a rep to deliver me a catalogue to my residence....about 2weeks later said catalogue turned up but as I was going away for more than a month I didn't order...I explained that I would be away but I would still like to receive a catalogue in the future.....and folks was the end of that ...approx six months has gone by and I have never seen a catalogue again....

I have gone from adoring Avon to being totally disgruntled and totally put off and now I am the one who can't be bothered with them any more....I know I'm just a small fish in a big pond but if every small fish was treated as poorly as I have been there very soon would be no fish left in that pond and Avon would be in dire straights....I think it's disgusting that they try and force you to buy online just to make it easier for themselves....and to made to feel so inadequate and stupid because u don't buy on line ...
