False advertising and bad service – Purchased a Azzurri Lava Mountain Bike... advertised as being discounted from $1199.00 to $499.00 what rubbish! It is a very basic bike that turned out to be just that, very basic and very, very badly put together by Cycling Express. I had to purchase some pedals to ride the following weekend. The pedals for the bike have still not arrived from… Read more

Cycling Express, more than 2 weeks after the rest of the bike.

Very bad service from Cycling Express Australia.

My 1st ride was a nightmare. Only 18 of 27 gears. Then standing on the pedals putting in max effort on a big climb the rear Derailleur caught on the spokes, tore itself from the hanger(drop down). 40kms from home in the bush. The bike totally un rideable. Would have been fatal if I had not been carrying plenty of supplies. I have purchased a new Rear Derailleur and Hanger to mount it. I will continue to ride the bike for the time being, after spending some money to have an expert ensure it is all working as the designer intended. When my new Felt Q820 Mountain Bike arrives the Azzurri Lava will be sold. The sad story is posted every where up here. Every visitor to the Pilbara will have the view that Azzurri and Cycling Express are to be avoided at any cost.

Cycling Express...treating customers like crap. Nice looking welds! Very basic, falsely advertised as being discounted 58%. Badly assembled, major break down 1st ride.

Good bike to ride – Just started MTB's and researched several brands. For me the best value for money was the Azzurri Lava. For it's price nothing came close to it with It's Shimano Deore parts. Ihad the bike fitted to me by the pleasant staff at Cyclingexpress and it has not missed a beat. Thanks Damo Value for money. Rides smooth.40day money back gaurantee.
