Perfect
Recently bought this pram which is suitable for newborns as well. It can recline to flat position. it can be folded with one hand which is easy when you travel and place it in car. Wheels have suspension and are not made of plastic
Purchased in February 2020 for $639.00.

hi, just wanted to enquire, it says the stroller has near flat position for relaxed stroll for new born. can i use this stroller without car seat or bassinet for new born?

Hi Archana,
Thank you for your enquiry. The City Mini GT2 has been approved for newborns, so you don't need to buy a bassinet or capsule - these are just optional extras.
Please let us know if you have any further questions.
Kind regards,

Hello, I would like to know if any of the older Baby Jogger City Mini bassinets are compatible with the new Baby Jogger City Mini GT2 pram?
Thank you

Hi Nina, Unfortunately no. The new version of the City Mini2/GT2/Elite2 have completely different mounting brackets for Bassinets and Capsules.
If you have a City Mini GT2 and would like to use a bassinet then you will need to purchase the New Bassinet2 here is the link: https://babyjoggerstrollers.com.au/product/city-mini-2-city-mini-gt2-bassinet/
Kind Regards

Thank you for your prompt reply. It does however seem very wasteful and not sustainably minded of companies to completely change adaptors and attachments so that older items are not compatible with new models. I do understand that is not limited to Baby Jogger.
Megasked
Online it says this pram is newborn compatible- yet below it says 6+ months? Can this pram be used (without the bassinet) for a new born?

Hi Meg,
yes absolutely! you are welcome to use the pram as is without any accessories; ensure you harness bub in though. However, we encourage the use of the bassinet to have a) bub facing you b) a more enclosed space for bub as they're so small :) and c) is perfect flat with a lovely mattress. Nothing better for a newborn's posture than a flat base. they grow so quickly.
Hope this helps, have a great day!
