Sewing Enlightened!! – I purchased the Enlighten 2 years ago & am totally wrapped. What a great little machine, a dream to thread, so easy, stitches perfectly, auto tension, sturdy, quiet & has never missed a beat & I give my machines a very good work out almost daily!! She's sewn every fabric I have thrown at her without fault, from chiffon to Lycra & all fabrics in-between!! What a beautiful piece of machinery...I couldn't wish for better!!

2/3/4 overlocking choices
Negatives: only thing I feel could be improved is the space between needle and plate. Changing feet is a tad fiddly. Also though handy I don't like the thread bin hanging over the edge of the table.
Bought this as a show special and it came with extra threads, feet, thread bin, DVDs included.
A huge monetary investment, but as I had the last overlocker for 25 years, I hope this one will last as long and it won't seem like such a large dollar outlay.

Edited to add. I have used this overlocker a lot since buying it and am pleased with how easy it is to sew with. The only negatives I would now advise of is, it is a noisy machine and sewing with some thicker knits the machine gets quite a loud 'thump thump' sound, which stops when you run out of material. I also feel that the machine isn't firm on the table. I have since buying this been advised that there is Juki overlocker with the air threading, so if you are in the market it might be worth a look at also.
