Bought to try it out seems great and the taste is very uncommon to others theres an authentic taste of the loaf. Pretty good so far.
From delicious fruit loaf to fiasco – We used to love the old style sandwich loaf fruit bread. But now it's gone high top, with hardly any fruit and no substance. Please bring back the original recipe. Show details
Bakers Delight are @ it again – Has anyone bought a Fruit Loaf from Baker's Delight lately. The Fruit loaves seem to always have inconsistencies. A poor example – We usually shop at Aldi for their Cafe Fruit loaf, but having run out, bought a Fruit Loaf from Bakers Delight. Unfortunately they have no idea of what one should taste like. WHITE bread with VERY little fruit, NO spice (cinnamon) and virtually NO taste, and at $6+, a complete waste of time and money, after just three slices, we put ours out for the birds to eat. Over the last couple of months the product has been turned into a high top loaf with nowhere near the same… Read more
amount of fruit. Unfortunately, this is very obvious in the tasting.
I won't be buying this product again unless it returns to the original recipe.
