Absolutely delicious! Perfect mix of coffee and chocolate. I only bought one hot cross bun in case I didn't like it. It is now my favourite flavour. I ate it plain, straight from the bag and it was fresh and yummy.

Delicious Easter treat – I have to laugh at previous persons review, of course they are loaded with calories! They are a seasonal treat and should be reviewed for what they are. Absolutely delicious flavour of both the coffee and chocolate. Even better hot with a slab of salted butter. I only bought one individual bun as I don't think I'd have the self control to stop at one if I had bought a pack of 6.

Purchased in at Bakers Delight for $1.50.

Well made, well priced and so so yummy – I was compelled to give this a review when i saw a one star review. not sure why the person gave it a positive for taste etc only to give it a one star for making her crave for them! Let me tell you, these buns are so tasty. In fact, the only thing i buy at Bakers delight. I bought one after a tasting and since then its been 2 dozen a week. Well done Bakers Delight for making the BEST BUNS.... EVER! Well thats just my opinion. Grab one for yourself and feel the urge!

Terrible – I dont buy these at all unless I really crave them. They are too richly packed for me to eat without turning into a giant hot crossed bun myself. But, I have to say that I love the taste. Yes, they are loaded with chocolate chips and they put 100 in a single bun! These are a great treat if you want something so tempting and sweet for tea. They are great warmed in the microwave and spread with a little butter. Overall, a rare treat only because of the rich content. I used to buy these every time a couple of years ago, until I found out how high in calories they are. Way too rich to eat regularly for the average person. I nearly fainted when I read that 1 bun (which isnt even very big) has a little more than 1000kilojoules and your average snack should be around 400-650kilojoules. Its too rich for me and the funny thing is it doesnt taste that rich. It is a bit expensive compared to the store varieties, but I guess you are paying for the freshness and the taste.
