It's better than good, not quite excellent – I'd love to be able to give it 4.5. Bread which is truly excellent is rare (and usually artisanal), but from a high volume bread shop this is about as good as it gets in my view. This is my go-to bread at Bakers Delight... when they have it. I find both the taste and texture of the bread itself to be excellent, and the crispiness of the crust compliments it perfectly.

There is but one problem; the stores in the northern Illawarra tend to be rather inconsistent in what they have. In some cases you can get the white version (which is also very enjoyable to eat, but as a rule I avoid white bread these days) but not the wholemeal version. You may or may not be able to get it with sesame seeds which, I might add, makes it even more enjoyable to eat. Sometimes you can't get it at all.

I get the feeling that this is not their best selling loaf since it's usually placed in some obscure part of the bread shelves. In fact I only tried it when I felt like something different, and noticed it when I was scanning the shelves. While I do get some other types to mix it up a bit (especially when the wholemeal with seeds isn't available), I usually end up returning to the Tin Vienna loaf.

I think that if Bakers Delight promoted it a bit more, it would sell quite well.

Purchased in at Bakers Delight Corrimal for $4.40.

Good – We bought this one when they ran out of all the other wholemeal breads. It tastes great and you can eat it straight out of the pack or by toasting it. We really werent sure what Tin Vienna meant, and once we found out that it was wholegrain flour, we didnt mind buying it. It costs about the same as other Baker's Delight breads, so it is expensive. But you are paying for the freshness and the better ingredients. Overall, a great bread to have anytime even as an afternoon snack and still eat healthy. This loaf tastes nice and is great when toasted. The ends of the toasted slice is crisp and the inside of the bread is nice and soft. It can be expensive compared to supermarket bread, but you are getting better quality I guess. It can be a bit boring to eat on a regular basis, so good idea to switch between these and some other type.
