UPDATE: Excellent Service by baumatic – I'm writing this review as an update to a previous review where I was unhappy with the dishwasher because it had broken. Even though the dishwasher was a few months out of warranty these guys were wonderful and came out and fixed it.. turns out it had been overflowing into its base. Baumatic fixed it and even had the courtesy to call and make sure… Read more ·  1

it was all OK. Not often that I'm so happy with Customer service as I'm usually fussy. The dishwasher continues to be amazing and washes it's heart out. I will always be looking at baumatic appliances without hesitation. PS sorry it's taken so long for me to update that bad review. I've had a rough time and forgot all about it until recently.

Garbage brand, not durable – Very cheap an nasty machine. Does everything decent. Durability wise waste of time. Mine only lasted 18 months. Washes quite well on the echo 65 degree cycle. Would not recommend. Trash

Affordable & Simple – This dishwasher, made by a company called Baumatic (who I have never heard of up until now) have designed and incredibly simple and functional dishwasher. The machine comes with 5 programmes. Prewash, 2 quick programmes (one at 35 degrees and the second at 60 degrees) Eco, and Intensive respectively. There are 3 handy indicators that will tell you… Read more ·  1

what stage of the wash cycle the machine is in, wash or dry and an on/off indicator. There are two buttons used to start or cancel the programme and turn the machine on and off. Programme selection is done with a dial, simply turn it to the desired programme.

The machine is finished in a finger print resistant stainless steel, which also gives it a more premium look. The cavity inside the dishwasher is spacious enough for a family of 1-3 who do loads on a daily basis. there is also a basket on the bottom rack to hold utensils and cutlery. On the door there are two compartments, the right one is for refilling rinse aid and adjusting the level of rinse aid dispensed. The compartment on the left is for your dishwasher detergent. If you use tablets, you will be pleased to know they can go in, and fully dissolve in the wash. What is great about these very basic dishwashers is that cycle times are not as long as more premium models, but they still retain the exact same cleaning performance, however the trade off with this is you will find this machine would use more energy compared to more premium options on the market. Cleaning performance is more than adequate, a normally soiled everyday load on the eco 45 programme is completely clean and dry, very few water droplets on glasses. For heavily soiled items, the intensive cycle would come into use.

For the extremely low price of this dishwasher, I found cleaning performance to be no different than my over $2000 Bosch dishwasher that I had in a previous residence, I would say that drying performance is actually better on this dishwasher, that lack of complex energy saving features allow the machine to just do what it has to do. My only complaint with this machine is that even for the price, it is incredibly noisy. A 12 year old Kleenmaid dishwasher I owned many , many years ago was less noisy, but again for the price, sound will always be an issue. I have also had an issue with the detergent compartment door not closing but this is really just a minor inconvenience. For anybody looking for an extremely simply, budget friendly and stylish dishwasher, I'd have to really recommend it.

Does the job – Seems to be a simple design/function dishwasher which means less can go wrong. Washes and does the job quite satisfactorily. Makes a bit of noise but not irritating. Not as fancy as our Delonghi at work. Would definately recommend for reliability. Show details ·  1

Best dishwasher ever! – Used to replace a 'famous brand' dishwasher. This washes perfectly every time, dries well and whatever I stack in it washes perfectly. All the tablets dissolve perfectly too so no half dissolved tablets left in. Show details ·  1

Best dishwasher for the price I paid! – This was purchased to replace a 'German' dishwasher that failed after about 1 year. I put this one in, turn the dial and it works! It washes well, dries everything well, the metal interior is so much better than plastic! All the dishes come out clean and dry, I don't have to hand dry everything either.  Show details ·  1
