Best Dishwasher Ever!!!! – I don't rinse my dishes because I try and save water - this is one of the only dishwashers that actually does a proper rinse so the dishes come out clean. Usually with other brands I've used (miele and smeg) there is still residue. it never gets clogged and my tupperware comes out dry!!

You get what you pay for – Back in 2016 I reviewed an Aldi dishwasher. Much cheaper than the ILVE I am now reviewing, the Aldi product has gone to dishwasher heaven, lasting about 3yrs & 8 months. It was what I could afford at the time. At around $800 - $900 the ILVE product is more expensive than what it replaced. It has taken a little time to get my head around the various programs and settings, but I think I've got the hang of it. Bonuses are, ILVE only draws cold water to start its wash, not hot as with the Aldi product, so a saving from the get go. The ILVE appears to do a great wash and its filter appears much clearer of the white "gunge" that used to build up & appear on my previous dishwasher. You can also hear the pulsing of the water as dishes and pots get washed. Incidentally, there is a "Quiet" mode if you want, but you know that the dishwasher is washing efficiently from the pulsing. I'm still unsure about the 3rd row cutlery drawer. Having this in takes away from the height you can stack with your main drawers. I have taken out the 3rd rung, but wish I had kept my old cutlery basket as it was much larger than the ILVE basket. It is way more efficient to take the basket out when putting away cutlery. From the Good Guys, I also purchased their service of delivery, installation and the taking away of my old dishwasher. For the cost I felt this was money well spent. The installer was efficient, turned up on time, and very clean with his work. Also purchased was the Good Guys extended warranty which takes my coverage out to 5yrs. Time will tell whether I will require the extra coverage.
