So NOT "flex" wire – The wire between buds is AWFUL. Thick, inflexible, and with every movement gey creata an amplified "scratching" sound into the earbuds. The kink from being in the box couldn't be straightened, so a permanent cross over loop at the front that interferes with clothes and is totally in the way whilst laying down. Trying to sleep with them, which is why I bought them, is a total nightmare! Every movement of the thick wire makes a horrid noise in your ears. I had Sennheiser before and they and ZERO wire sound issues, and the wire was short, flexible and easy to sleep with. I'm going back to Sennheiser. Beats Flex are shocking. I never write reviews but there headphones are incredibly frustrating. I'd give them 1 star except the sound quality is OK if you can remain perfectly still so the wired isn't move at all and be comfortable with a hard cord crossed over under your chinl!

Pairs easily, long battery, reasonable sound, good value – Purchased online from the Apple Store Australia $79.95 (free shipping). Ordered Monday, delivered Friday. Great online ordering experience, kept me informed every step of the way. Bought them to replace my airPods (which the battery eventually gave out after a few years). The sound is a bit shallower than the AirPods were but for the price they are great. They have a better bluetooth connection range and far better battery life than the AirPods. So what you loose in bass you gain in battery life and other aspects. The mid range/ vocals actually seem clearer. Also pairs easier than the AirPods, rock solid connection. The sound is clear just noticeably shallower but I'm used to it already. Super comfy and comes with 3 other rubber thingies for different sized ears. Feels more secure in the ears than the AirPods. The Apple Online service is outstanding. I got the Yuzu yellow ones : ) You can also adjust the volume on them like the now old skool wired classic earphones. Some things try to be great by being fancy in one area but great things usually are about a compromise of all things. They don't try to be great, just honest and functional and so they are great.
