Cheap quality product but good sound – Great headphones but very prone to breaking due to the cheap material. It's a shame but the Audio Technica M50x are a lot better. Show details

Poorly engineered – I used my headphones to and from work on the train, and while sitting at my desk. Volume, sound and connectivity is great unfortunately the headphone has a design floor. The inside panel on my first pair cracked, I returned it to Apple and they gave me another pair. Another year later the next pair inside panel has also cracked. There are several people online that complain about this, there is too much force on one bit of plastic. Show details

Great sound is only good when you can wear them – Great Sound, very comfortable, all of which become redundant when they break because they're made of cheap thin plastic. Absolute rip off. Don't expect to get 12 months out of these headphones. Show details

A 'WoW' experience – I bought these headphones to use at work, so that I could focus on my day without being interrupted by the noises around me. Firstly, let me say just how awesome the experience was in just unboxing them! You receive this amazingly packaged box, with each layer taking you on a new experience. They even had strategically placed (easy to remove, no… Read more

residue) stickers telling with a 'quick' explanation on how to connect to BlueTooth and the charge portal. When I put them on, immediately the sound around me disappeared and the music played through clearly, and at a nice level. I would highly recommend these to anyone, and do think they are worth what I paid. Nice one Beats.

Wireless goodness – What do you listen to with the headphones? Spotify and Apple TV+ Are the headphones suitable for physical activities such as running and cycling? with an amp nothing beats that setup but from a wireless perspective lows and mids are solid and max volume is powerful and punchy

I haven't had issues so far and I got 2 pairs of these which go around the household and public transport. Carry case is small enough I can put it in my shoulder bag. Matt black is my vibe

They look brill and sound OK – I purchased mine a couple of years ago during the Black Friday sales from the Apple Store. I listen to a wide range of popular music, from Dua Lipa to Eric Clapton, including the Three Tenors. I like the sound, and the Bluetooth range is good; I can go from my back bedroom/computer room to the kitchen or front door before the Bluetooth drops out.… Read more

I live in a 3 bedroomed bungalow. The sound is clear, the noise-cancelling OK, they work brilliantly with Apple Devices. They are good for using on the bus or walking, using the iPhone. Mine are decadent red, red and black, and they look super are well made the packaging is good, with the coloured cables for charging or using wired.

Love them!! – I adore these headphones. I can wear them on a walk, a run, when I’m cleaning around the house. They do not slide off, they stay put and they are noise cancelling. I’ve worn them on planes and when I’ve wanted to block out annoying colleagues and I would hate any other style now! Highly recommend! Show details

Just what I need – I listen to musics using my beats studio 3. The over-ear headphone is huge. So it is not suitable for physical activities like running. It has perfect sound volume and sound quality. I particularly love the noise cancelling feature. I can be 100% focus when listening to musics. It has good battery life too, enough for me to use for a day. Show details

Headphone band and hinge break easily – The headphone band and hinge on my Beats broke and my local Apple Store won’t repair. The self repair option is very difficult so now my headphones are useless. I am sure this must be a design flaw as there are so many sites selling replacement parts. Show details

Not worth it – Crack appeared in the earphone and Apple refused to fix it sighting damage caused by me. I only wear these sitting at my desk and its a common issue - I paid over $400 for the earphones. Now they wont answer calls - people cant hear me talking. Avoid - not worth the money and customer service has been dreadful, made to feel like a fraud.  Show details

Badly designed for anyone with a 'big head' – After 4 months these headphones developed a crack above the earpiece due to the design putting stress on the plastic when worn and were originally replaced. The replacement pair are now having exactly the same issue and Apple will not replace. Research shows this is a common fault and others have had exactly the same issue with them globally. Would not recommend at all and has turned me off the brand from their handling of the issue.  Show details

Awesome but Pricey Headphone – Well, the noise cancellation feature is awesome. It looks good and feels good too. But it is way too pricey. It is huge so I don't think it is suitable for sports. I use it for relaxation, listening to music. Overall, it is a nice experience. Sound volume and wireless connections are not bad. Show details

Awesome Noice Cancellation – I normally listen to music with my headphone. It is huge. So some people might not like it. But the noise cancellation feature is just perfect for me when I am working in a noisy environment. I think it has an OKish wireless range. Show details

Looks good. Sounds decent – Stylish and comfortable. I use it for work on my desktop. Sound is pretty decent, however the noise cancellation isn't that great. Setting it up is a breeze as long as you use Apple products. The wireless range is also pretty good. Show details

Great Quality of Sound. Not so much on the Extras – Had the studios for 2 years. The cushions are completely flaked off - $40-$50 for a new pair or cushions (Expected then you wear them a lot and sweat at the gym) Also I’m on my third charging cord at around $10-$40 depending on where you get it. So expect to fork out some $$$ down the track if you just spend $200-$400 on headphones :( Show details

Stylish and effective – These are great headphones that come in a variety of colours. Because of the large ear ups, they are fairly comfortable when wearing glasses, although not for super long periods of time. Studio Beats - Quality Sound !!! – My wife recently bought me Beats Studio Headphones for Christmas. I thought that my Solo beats were good but these are so much better. Love how they cover both my ears with even more comfort. The connectivity to Bluetooth is instsnt leaving you speechless. Up to 4 days worth of battery life. Sound good - quality bad - customer service non existent – I got a pair of Beats Studo 3 for my birthday. Sound quality was great and I was very happy. Then I got problems with the beats not charging so sent them back. I think they were replaced ratherv than repaired. Again very happy with sound quality but they started to lose their charge and it's very frustrating when you go out for a walk having had… Read more

your beats on charge and they die after 5 minutes. Also the soft ear piece cover started to deteriorate. I logged onto the help desk (Apple support) and they were "sympathetic" to the ear piece issue but their solution to the battery was to replace them at a cost of $120 and I had to take them into an Apple store. They would offer me a 3 month warranty. Now why would I pay $120 to get a 3 month warranty on something that had already failed!! I declined the offer. I offered the Australian marketing manager an opportunity to address the problem as I felt the Apple warranty conditions were damaging her brand. She said they had followed policy. I wouldn't buy this product again at half the price. If a company is not prepared to accept the consequences of poor manufacturing quality they don't deserve my (or anyone else's custom. Don't buy this product because Beats have no commotment to customer service

My impression after comparing with Sennheiser PXC 550 – I compared my brother's Beats recently with my new Sennheiser PXC 550. I was torn between these two products after reading reviews. I'm glad I bought the PXC 550. Beats sound boomier although detailed. Beats are not compatible with all Apple products and wouldn't pair with my iPhone 5s. They were a little heavier and bulkier. Hard to turn off when… Read more

compared to the easy action of 'twisting' the PXC 550. They fit a little more tightly and add pressure whereas my PXC 550s are lighter and easier to wear over a long period. The egg-shaped storage bag is a little hard to grab with one hand when fumbling in your bag for it. They can't compare with audiophile headphones (like my Yamaha HP-1 orthodynamic wired) in terms of sound clarity, mid-range and accuracy though.

Great Music. Needs better features – I moved away from Bose quiet comfort to purchase Beats Studio3. Though I love the compatibility of beats with Apple products, there are couple of things you need to consider before your purchase. Headsets cannot be used with a cable as well, when the battery dies. So you need to have a minimum charge. However, Bose headsets work with a cable when… Read more

there is no charge. Other feature missing is the selection of devices to pair, directly from headset. Overall, music quality is great.

Expensive Cheap Quality – After splurging over A$400 on a decent set of headphones, I find the headband to be nothing more than cheap plastic. People look after these knowing that they can't afford to purchase another set anytime soon as you pay good money for these only to get a small crack in them(not from misuse or any fault). They won't be repaired for free under… Read more

warranty as they tell you that it's "ONLY" cosmetic and if you choose to repair them, You will need to spend $271.82+tax. So You would be paying close to A$700 for a set of headphones. This is ridiculous and unacceptable Apple. You should hang your head in shame! Just leave your Beats on the shelf as a reminder of what an expensive headset looks like and purchase cheaper headphones that do the same job at 1/10th of the price and if they break, You could always buy another set without spending a fortune. If you buy a new car and the paint starts to crack, the dealership fixes it for free. Same should happen here!!! You're only getting 1 star as you won't let me put a 0 star rating

Awesome – Initially bought these for my wife as a birthday present and was so impressed with the sound I got her to get me a pair for my birthday. and ask Siri to play any music on my device or Spotify, make a phone call or anything else you care to ask. Noise canceling seems to work quite well with ambient noise and usually need a tap on the shoulder to know if someone is talking to me. Bluetooth range is quite impressive as well, I can be anywhere in the house without loosing connection. I can only compare them to my $50 JBL headphones, but can thoroughly recommend them. Definitely need to shop around though, got mine brand new on eBay for under $330, look for discount codes to use at the checkout.

Great sound, not just a fancy brand – I know people may think that these headphones may not be as good as other headphones in the same price range because of their fancy branding however they are some of the best sounding headphones I have used. They seem to have about 10 hours of battery time, which is plenty, and they can be charged using a usb cable.  Show details

Awesome! – Huge improvement from the Studio2's. The quality of sound is amazing and the battery life is a game changer. I use these at work and don't have to worry about charging them for a few days and then a quick charge (~10 mins) gives me around 3 hours of life still. The range is also awesome, can have them on when I'm a fair distance away from my phone or computer and doesn't cut out or break up at all.  Show details

Comfy loud awesome – The sound of these are great! They are comfy and cover your ears. They last quite a while before they need a charge which is good. It takes like 5 mins to charge and I think that is a thumbs up! Only downfall I would say is that the ear muffs could be a bit more solid as they fold it pushes the foam in the ear muff & gets a bit squashed.  Show details

Nice sound system – very good product, nice grip on ears and quality of music through the headphone was very pleasing. Bought for daily use and better than many other brands in market with that price range. Overall it was a nice purchase but am looking for wireless headphone for next time for bit extra money.  Show details

Not Bad at All – Do as described. Love the fast charge feature, enabling 3 hours listening time (without noise canceling) after 10 minutes of charging. The only downside is the price, which if you find deals on it, should be quite reasonable. The only reason I bought them was that I found a deal for $320 AUD online, $130 less than retail price in Australia.  Show details
