Review Beko dishwasher – Order in Dec 23 for a family of three. Error message e01 appeared first in Jul 24 Was sent a technician to have a look. Technician said no issue with dishwasher , fixed it and charged $155 (saying blockage somewhere) Same error message appears again less than 10 days after the technician visit Contacted Beko and said they could send another technician but will be my out of pocket expense again if this is no fault I said there gotta be a issue somewhere with your machine otherwise why would that happened at all (we empty the filter every time etc) Asked for a replacement and they won’t honour Asked for a free technician visit to find out the root of the issue and they won’t honour
First time buying beko dishwasher and would be the last. It cost $715 but do nothing better than my old one which is 10 year old and we don’t need to call for any troubleshooting
Fire hazard – I have had this dishwasher for 6 years, at 4 years I had to get a new circuit board, which was under warranty so no charge. However recently when I started the dishwasher on a cycle after a few minutes I noticed a burning smell, I was trying to work out where it was coming from and then noticed smoke coming out of the dishwasher. I quickly turned it off. I organised for a service attendant to come and look at it and he told me it could have burnt the house down. I would frequently run our dishwasher at night or whilst we are out. It was incredibly fortunate that I was home when I started this cycle and able to turn it off. I am currently in correspondence with Beko about this, their initial response was to say it was out of warranty but this does not negate the application of consumer laws.
