Dishes Often still dirty after clean – Very noisy and despite always rinsing dishes thoroughly before putting them in, things frequently still come out dirty. Filter frequently gets clogged too. As do the water outlets (on the spinning arms). We are renting and the dishwasher came with the house so I have no idea how much it’s worth or how old it is all I know is that I will almost… Read more

certainly never buy a Beko product based on my experience with this machine. Often it doesn’t even start too meaning ill open the dishwasher after waiting for hours to find completely unwashed dishes.

Worked quite well for 6 years – Had this beko for 6 years / never had any issues and with a large family it has been well used . The heating function has now stopped - ie not heating the water or drying and with the call out price etc to fix we were advised we may as well get a new dishwasher . Not sure if 6 years is the going lifespan of dishwashers or not Show details

A good machine – The lower rack plate holder prongs were rusting after a couple of years. The worst fault is the top rack rails jam against the rear wall and tighten on the rollers, making it hard to push the rack in. Otherwise, an excellent dishwasher. Is there a solution for the top rack fault? Show details

Decent dishwasher that is very good value – We bought this dishwasher as our previous one (that came with the house we bought) broke down. We didn't want to buy an expensive brand as we were (and still are) planning to do a major renovation to our house in a few years during which we were/are planning to do up the kitchen anyway so we only needed a dishwasher for a few years. The Beko… Read more ·  1

dishwasher was one of the cheapest ones I could find new (i.e. "factory second" which helped) and it could be delivered on the same day which was reason enough to buy it.

We have had the dishwasher now for almost 3 years and it hasn't missed a beat since we bought it. The dishwasher cleans well, is easy to fill up and empty out, has a top tray that is slightly customisable (so can accommodate either tall wineglasses in the top tray or very large pots and pans in the bottom tray) and it all feels reasonably sturdy. The dishwasher does have 5 programs but we pretty much use 2 of the 5 only so the rest is rather superfluous. Cleaning out the filter is easy and as there are a few buttons on the dishwasher only its very simple to operate it (any 4 year old could do it....... if only they would).

I cannot really fault the dishwasher at all other than that it's not very fancy looking (but that can hardly be expected at this price point).

What I found interesting is that the brand "Beko" was marketed as a brand that was very popular in Europe, although I've lived in Europe for close to 30 years I had never heard of it until I bought the dishwasher in Australia. I'm fairly happy however that - while I had never heard of the brand - it didn't stop me from buying the dishwasher. For everyone that's a little hesitant still to buy this brand, I noticed they now offer 5 years of warranty on some of their products too which says something about their confidence levels at least (and perhaps the quality too).

Good to average dishwasher but has issues – Only had this dishwasher for 3 years & it definitely has issues. First thing i noticed is the bottom rack easily miss aligns on tracks when sliding rack out to load. Second thing & most upsetting is that eight of the vertical prongs on bottom rack that support the dishes have rusted at base & have broken away. Obviously making it impossible to hold the dishes.. It does clean ok & is mostly quiet overall, probably because i dont use it anymore!  Show details

Good machine – Very quite machine after our old noisy FP. Cleans well and is very simple to use. We purchased because we were told it is a premium brand in Europe. However the issue we have had is the draws have coroded and are rusting. Boys are falling off. Beko won't do anything as just outside warranty. Not good for a 'premium' machine.  Show details

Excellent value – Purchased 8 months ago after 30yr oldBosch finally died. Firstly it is so simple to choose & use programme setting, we use no 4 unless really big load. Secondly it washes very well, even heavy soiled. We don't pre wash!!! Dries even when left closed o'night. Nice & quiet. Always use tank water & liquid detergent. Recently purchased a Dishlex for holiday unit.......no comparison, BEKO wins by heaps...

Great basic washer – Really can't complain about this dishwasher. It cleans well when stacked properly. I do rinse any heavily soiled items first, but I've found this is necessary with any dishwasher I've ever had. I use cycle 3 & just use Woolies homebrand tablets. It doesn't dry the dishes fully, so I always open the door & leave it ajar for about an hour before… Read more

unpacking the dishes. Not a major issue for me personally. Was about $550 from memory. Had approx 2yrs now. Just purchased a Beko front loader washing machine too as so impressed with product.

I hate this dishwasher – I have had the Beko dishwasher for 3 years. I hate it. It's very loud, everything must be fully rinsed off or food gets stuck in the arm at the top and it's almost impossible to get out. It doesn't clean properly and often I have to hand wash afterwards. It doesn't always dissolve the tablets and most of the cups are left with dirt stuck to the… Read more

inside off them. The little things hat keep the top shelf on always come off. If I had more money I would buy a different dishwasher but that's not an option. I hate this dishwasher!!!

Broke down over 2 weeks ago, still waiting for parts to arrive – Our Beko dishwasher (still under warranty) broke down over 2 weeks ago, and they don't have parts available in Australia, they have to be sent from Turkey. Pathetic.

After 3 weeks it was deemed to be unfixable, so we received a new, improved (I hope) model. This was after countless phone calls and threats.

So far So good! – Bought it over 2.5 years ago largely because it had 2 years onsite warranty and was cheap ($500) so that I could take it with me when I moved rental places. I also looked into company profile - how big it was in Europe, made in Turkey etc which sounded good enough Stainless steel interior was another good point - those dry better. Anyways, It… Read more

hasn't missed a beat. I run it 4-5 times a week at number 4 or 5

I noticed some other reviews - I use finish quantum dishwashing tablets with it and it works well.

For maintenance, I use finish quantum dishwasher cleaner (liquid bottle) every 6 months.

Unhappy with dishwasher – Bought out 1st Beko home and after installation it would not switch on. Returned it the next day to retailer and brought a replacement home. After 3 weeks the 2nd machine has failed due to switch failure. Is this a common fault with this machine. Very unhappy. Have a Beco washing machine on hold, but now have my doubts about this brand. Switch problems.

Does not dissolve detergent properly! – Purchased one 3 weeks ago and have found the dishwasher not dissolving tablets or powder very well on the eco wash. Also the quick wash and the normal eco wash does not leave dishes dry, quite pointless really of getting a new dishwasher and having to hand dry everything afterwards. The dishwasher looks all right in the kitchen, but that's about it. Does not dissolve tablets all the time and does not dry on some common cycles.

If you are doing a full load, you ought to be using the Quick&Clean (4) or Intensive (5). They give me great results.

Eco wash can't dry dishes – I purchased one of these about 3 weeks ago and it's been an absolute mess. The energy efficiency must be false because the Quick wash does not dry, the normal ECO wash does not dry either. You need to use the intensive 70 degree was for normal glassware and plates to come dry when you take plates off. I contacted Beko and haven't had much help… Read more

saying I need to use better rise aid (I use Finish) and I need to leave the door open after the wash has finished. Whats the point? I now need to use a 70 degree wash which uses 90% more power than the eco just so I can get my crockery dry!

Very misleading with an eco 45 degree wash, the temperature does not heat the plates long or hot enough so they can dry by themselves. I spent good money on a dishwasher and I'm not happy with it. Lucky for me I'm moving out so I won't be using this for too long. Intensive wash does clean well. Quick wash, eco wash do not dry plates.

The KISS principle – I've only had this dishwasher for a couple of months and use it about twice a week and everything is fine so far. It is a simple dishwasher with an inexpensive price tag. Yes, you can buy stainless steel, computerized dishwashers that decide for themselves how long the wash program should be (if you can believe that works!) for twice, even three… Read more

times the price, but what's the point? A white box that sits under the kitchen bench and washes the dishes efficiently for $499 is quite OK with me. Simple, efficient and inexpensive. Not made in China, so should last more than a year!

Happily impressed – I hadn't heard of Beko before but this brand is apparently a top seller in the UK and Europe. Anyway, it was at a very good price with 2 years warranty so I thought I'd give it a go. Wow, I am impressed. Quiet and efficient. I only use cycle 2 which is the quick 30 minute wash which only uses 11.8L and it does a great job. I can empty the machine… Read more

Great Value Solid Performer – This simple dishwasher delivers great results. It cleans well and has lots of room, making it easy to pack. There are only a few program choices, as would be expected with a simple dishwasher. But keeping it simple hasn't effected the quality of the wash and both the Eco and Fast Hot wash are very effective. So effective, we haven't tried the… Read more

wash for heavily soiled. There is also a quick wash that we haven't used yet. It is designed to quickly clean things that aren't that dirty.

Drying of plastic is problematic but this is common to all but the most expensive dishwashers.

This product was also easy to install with fittings that are identical to our previous Fisher & Paykel dishwasher. This dishwasher is within standard height and width, though only just. The depth is less than many others on the market.

Overall this is great value and well suited to anyone on a budget. Reliable, inexpensive with settings suitable for most washing requirements Doesn't dry plastics well.
