Bellezzaire

Great makeup and application, just wish it would have a bit more staying power – I really like this make up system. I first experienced airbrush makeup on my wedding day a few months ago, and being pleased with the results I decided to hunt for a kit once I got back from honeymoon. I decided to purchase Bellezzaire because of it's natural ingredients and because it's easier to order than other US brands from Australia. I have troublesome skin - acne prone, but also very dry with eczema. For work I need good makeup coverage from 7am to 7pm. As long as I don't touch my face or get any water on it (a bit of a challenge for me), this makeup does last 10+hrs.
Overall this makeup gives you really good coverage, and you can cover up blemishes first and then layer over the top with a full face spray. Feedback from friends and family is that it gives me the same coverage as my previous makeup: Revlon Colorstay with Thin Lizzy concealer, but that it looks like I'm wearing less makeup, and doesn't look as heavy! This is great for me because I really didn't enjoy looking like a 'cake face' but because of my problem skin felt I needed to apply a lot of makeup to leave the house. Also, because of the application process, it has halved the time it normally took for me to do my makeup! I would get so frustrated and sometimes stressed applying makeup carefully to cover blemishes, but with this system it's actually fun and so much easier, not to mention more hygienic.
Only real con is that if I tear up while laughing, or spill food or water on my face while eating, and then use a tissue to gently dab where there is moisture - unfortunately the makeup comes right off. I'm now slightly terrified of being caught out in the rain without an umbrella. You can add vodka (it tells you this in the brochure) to make it water resistant, and this did help a bit with staying power, but I find my skin doesn't like this/gets irritated when I do this...I having been using the Matte Foundation which is the more paramedical of the two. I plan on trying out their finishing spray to see if that improves this issue.
I'm a total convert to airbrush makeup. Am tempted to try out other airbrush makeups to see how the staying power is but much harder to buy this stuff in Oz so happy to stick with Bellezzare for now. Customer service is good and the kit is good value. Good coverage while not looking heavy, can layer and cover blemishes, easy to apply comes off very easily with any moisture/water. Will try the Finishing spray and see if that improves longevity
The only way to put on foundation – I don't think I will ever go back to putting on foundation with a sponge or fingers again, this system is so easy to use and when you have finished, no tide lines or heavy patches, it is a perfect finish. When I first applied it I thought it was not going on, but I could feel it going on, quickly worked out that you need to layer it on. It takes less than 1 minute to apply and then I apply blush the same way. The foundation itself is amazing and you don't even feel you are wearing it. The one I bought was the Mineralaire which is a mineral based airbrush foundation infused with all sorts of goods such as green tea and chamomile. With the kit you get 4 foundation colours in your colour range and they say to mix 2-3 of the colours to get the perfect match for your skin, and by doing this you will know which colours to reorder - too easy. Quick, efficient, use less foundation Probably the initial outlay for the whole kit, but well worth it in the long run.
