Good alternative to an expensive pizza oven – After trial and error of making pizza 3 times we’ve finally perfected our pizza making skills. Didn’t have the room to build a wood fire pizza oven, this was a considerably cheaper option. This oven sits on top of an ordinary gas bbq. It has a temp gauge on the top stating if oven is warm, ideal or hot. Make sure it stays in the ideal mode other wise pizza will cook too fast and burn. Sometimes the gas has to be turned off to regulate temp. Depending on thickness of base cooking times vary. With this oven we tend to have pizza quite regularly. Not the same taste as wood fired but better than using stove oven, we just love it. 5/9/2023 victorias basement has oven for $89 with free postage. Would recommend.
