our Billi tap heating element failed after about 18 months of fairly light use. Products fail, so its what happens next that impacts an organisation's reputation . I lodged a warranty claim on line, and with proof of purchase, and installation, the repair was organised swiftly by Billi staff, with no hassle. A couple of SMS's to agree date and time frame and all done.

Follow-up  · chose Billi because it is an Australian company. Tap has been fine since the element was replaced

Beware!! Billi lock out feature extorts you into spending $200 + each year on new filters – Spent $1,988 on my Billi B-4000 in June 2023 and the unit completely stopped and entered fault mode just over a year later. Contacted Billi who advised unit has lock out feature that wont reset until I replaced the Billi filter at a cost of $199. The filters apparently contain a chip that triggers the lock out feature once certain amount of litres dispensed is reached. It was not explained to me when I purchased my Billi that the only way to reset this ridiculous lock out feature was to spend $200 a year on new filters when I purchased my Billi unit. Billi does not mention this lock out feature anywhere. This is an extortionate cost and highly unethical of Billi to lock their customers out of use of their units and force them to buy their new overpriced filters in order to get the unit operational again. This will be the first and last Billi product I will ever buy. Highly suggest you avoid this company and buy a different brand that doesn’t lock out their customers from using their units.

Billies are unaffordable for home use – I bought my billy some four years ago. I agree with previous comments that filters and service are expensive. High call out fee, then you pay the technicians by the minute then you need to pay for parts and then for the replacement filter. Would not recommend for home use, unless you dont mind the high maintenance costs. Have already booked a service but will probably pull it down next time it breaks down. My billi has worked well but brace yourselves if they break down. It will also break your bank account!

Billi Replaced my DUD unit with a new one – Billi Replaced my DUD unit with a new one, so they are prepared to do the right thing even if it takes about 6 phone calls and around 10 emails. You just need to be persistent ! My original review: Dont Buy One I purchased a Billi Model B-4000 in 2012 for $1450. It worked for 12 months then after a series of services (paid for by me) the technicians, despite replacing just about every part and taking the device away, have been unable to fix it. Billi have sent me bills in excess of $500 for "servicing". They do not respond to emails or phone calls DONT BUY ONE
