Don't buy biochef brand – I purchased the biochef Arizona dehydrator and the heating element died in the first 2 years. Vitality 4 Life, the company I purchased from, asked me to send it back, at cost to me, and the element was fixed and unit returned free of charge. This appliance just died on me in 2024. It lasted 5 or 6 years all together. Someone I know has the Excalibur dehydrator, he's had it for about 20 years and still going strong. I will never buy the biochef brand again

Dead fan after 1 use - 2 weeks old – Heater turns on. But fan does not. I am so angry. Restarted the machine 10 times. Read the manual and it says call service. I now have food already cut and will go to waste. Lucky the team at Kitchen Warehouse is offering an exchange. Thanks to them!
