have used it for a couple of years – Started taking this product because I have osteoarthritis in both knees, and have been happy with it, however, the last two containers I have bought have a revolting fish smell......I will have to find another product.

Not sure – I have been taking Bioglan red krill oil capsules for 12 months or more. I believe they are helping my memory. I have Parkinson's but my symptoms are minor and staying that way.
My first choice for Krill Oil – I use alot of Bioglan products and 12 months ago started using their Red Krill Oil. I chose Bioglan because it is a high quality pharmacy only brand (i.e. not a supermarket brand) and their Krill Oil undergoes molecular distillation for maximum purity. If you've done your research, you'll understand this matters. I'm taking it to help reduce inflammation and soreness from a weight training program plus just to top up omega-3s, and find it is just as good as any fish oil or krill oil out there. I don't usually get any reflux, although like other reviewers mention above, I did previously get a batch that caused mild reflux.... I called Bioglan and they told me there was a problem with one batch and they sent me a full replacement. I love the quality of Bioglan products, and their Red Krill Oil is another product I will buy again... I won't be fooled into buying cheap knock-off brands. Great brand. High quality, molecular distillation, sustainably harvested. It is a premium product, so costs a little more.
Red Krill Oil – Recently we purchased two containers of Bioglan Red Krill Oil capsules [each 30 soft capsules] from Chemist Warehouse -Glen Waverley Vic. as an alternative to fish oil capsules. On opening these containers we found the interiors contaminated by an orange oily substance The capsules seem to be unbroken but covered in oil. The seals on the containers were unbroken and we would have returned
them to the retailer but unfortunately we did not keep the receipt.We were very disappointed.
After taste – After first week, my husband took one capsule and had regurgitation all day tasting like fish. He refused to take any more. I also had a 'fishy' taste in my mouth and friends commented on 'strange smelling breath'. I will finish the pack and try another brand. Shame as I really like the small size capsule. small size, easy to swallow after taste in mouth
There was an issue a year or so ago where one of the batches from their manufacturers produced capsules that broke down before they hit the stomach. This is probably why you had the reflux... the problem has since been fixed and these are my Krill Oil of choice to relieve pain from weight lifting. Best Krill Oil on the market from mind.

I have been buying Bioglan Red Krill oil for a couple of years now, for myself and my adult children. However, the latest bottle I bought really smelled, so much that I had to hold my breath before I could swallow the capsule. Eventually threw the bottle out, which was stupid considering how much they cost.
I have just bought another bottle a couple of weeks ago, and while it didn't smell the first week, this second week it is reeking again. I am not going to throw this one out. I have kept my receipt and will return it to the place I bought it. Apparently they do go rancid (I googled) and that could explain my stomach cramps the last 3 days.
