Great Machine – I bought this machine as I did not want to keep spending money on hiring someone to clean my carpets. I am not disappointed, it deep cleans my carpets and has improved the look of them immensely. The shampoo smells great. The machine is easy to use and not too heavy Highly recommended.

This machine is awesome – Forget the sprays and powders that don't work, this is a little beauty. Light weight and very easy to use. Got marks out that the carpet cleaners could not shift. The Bissell shampoo is very good, and smells great. This is a discontinued model as far as I can see, but quite a few are still available at discount web sites. Do yourself a favour and grab one.

Awesome Machine! – Did my entire living area on 2 tanks and left it spotless and smelling beautiful! It didn't over saturate the carpet like some others do. I have tried this on my hard floors and it works well too! It is a must buy for families with kids or pets.. would even be good for the office! Great price, smells great, cleans great. A bit noisy, chemicals are expensive and don't last long.

Excellent – I have a cat who leaves fur everywhere & a dog who has taken to doing her business on my rug & carpet floors now & then so I know full well what it's like to live with awful odours & unsightly stains, that is why I bought the Bissell Deep Steam Cleaner. I bought this model ex demo which saved me a lot of money & it works a treat (try eBay or The Trading Post). I've used it over 20 times & it's still going strong & cleans very well. I usually go over the same areas about 2 to 3 times to ensure a thorough clean. As it uses steam to clean you'll find that your carpet/rug will dry very quickly. Vacuum the area first with a normal vacuum & you'll get good results if you slowly run the steamer along the carpet/rug as opposed to rapid vacuuming.

I wouldn't be able to step foot into my loungeroom if it weren't for this machine doing such a great job removing the odours & making my rug look nice & bright again. Easy to use & does a fantastic job getting stains & odours out of your carpet. Be careful to keep the dirty water reservoir upright & don't tip the icky water back onto the carpet when removing it.

For kids a must – After 2 years now in constant use I am very happy with this purchases, I have used it to suck up chocolate milk, vomit and juice out of the carpet. With kids it is on hand for any accident. I'm thinking of buying the bigger one now so I can do bigger area of carpet. I recommended this to anyone with young children. Its Quick to use, inexpenive about $200.00AU. Love the interchangable heads from carpet to hard floor. great for spot cleans The hard floor cleaner is not so good on bumpy Slat, Over time I think it is getting a little louder
