Great Price, Good Job – Okay so for a low end carpet cleaner it works brilliantly, we had really bad stained carpet in our high traffic area's. so no, will not get those out first time obviously, this isn't a professional grade cleaner and you should not expect as much, but.... hard stains - use a carpet power foam on the area first to loosen up the grime and dirt first… Read more

and it will bring your carpet back to new quite quickly with less time, remember a unit like this is not a professional unit and doesn't use professional grade cleaner either, so yes you need to do a few extra things for bad stains, but if you have new carpet or non badly stained carpet, add this into a once a month thing and it will keep your carpets looking clean and fresh, badly stained carpets, use a stain spot remover first to assist

What a great time saver and boon to cleaning – The Bissell 1970F QuickWash cleaner exceeded my expectations. It cleans carpets, rugs and hard floors with very little effort on the part of the user. It is simple to operate and easy to maintain. Assembly of the unit was easily done as the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I would recommeng this product to anyone with carpets and rugs especially.

Bought this to clean dirty carpets – Stains from dog and cat, there seems to be streak marks over the carpet now, should have hired someone to do it, I think, will give it another go (otherwise have wasted money), but far too much effort for a poor result, expected better based on reviews I had read on the website I bought it on. Trying to locate cleaning solutions to try and redo,… Read more

but the cost of retreating has to be considered. Easy to use. User guide could be better, but eventually worked it out

Excellent for the price – I have used it on hard floors for quite a while but only recently on carpet. I was always happy with the hard floor performance, but am astounded with the carpet cleaning. To my untrained eye it looks the eqal to when we get the carpets steam cleaned, but doing a room at a time is much more pleasant.

Great for washing carpet and hard floors – This is such a useful product, plus these newer models have a muffler so the vacuum washer doesn't make the din it used to. I use it the day before and after a house inspection. It is fantastic for carpet washing or rug cleaning (close pile or loop). Don't use super hot water, just hot (like the manual says). I've had mine for nearly 10 years, no… Read more ·  1

parts need replacing. The hard floor cleaning tool is also great for doing the tiles and vinyl. Bissell makes lots of carpet cleaning concentrates to suit, eg. Vinyl and tile; timber; carpet and multi-allergen, pet carpet cleaner.

Cleaning tip: wash 1 square metre at a time, that way the cleaning fluid doesn't seep all the way down to the hessian backing which will draw out tannin stains on woven carpeting. Also you may want to have a set of tweezers to remove lint from the dirty-water intake because long-hair or long pile carpet fibres will clog it up eventually - eg. large living room or new wool carpet that will pill.

Helps me clean up any spills of tea on carpets and I don't have to fret about watermarks. Just wish it could scrub my shower for me too. Great value, near-professional carpet cleaning results whenever you need it.

Horrible - Parts Way too Expensive – The unit suction heot designed to o allow cleaning. After 2 uses, blockage leads to 35% loss of suction efficiencies (making a mop better to use). We used water from hot tap and the plastic bottle warped slightly and lost its grip in the slot. Replacement container costs AUD$47 n Australiabut could be delivered to your house in the US for AUD$20.… Read more

Real rip-off. Stay away It does work when new - gets us suckers everytime. parts required but ridiculously priced. No stock held at retailers.
