A few months ago I purchased a Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam, Model no 3670F this product works like a dream and is correctly designed, engineered and tested to be practical and a asset to making house cleaning easy, hence the massive DISAPOINTMENT. BISSELL HAS DEFINITELY DROPPED THERE "LEADING EDGE" on this model of the crosswave HF2.
Does a decent job on hardwood floors. Quality was as expected for the entry level price point- fairly no frills and straightforward machine. Uses about 100ml of cleaning solution per tank and 90m2 of floors used two tanks, so will go through a bit of solution. Does clog easily with pet hair. excess pet hair before using the bissell. Purchased this to replace a tineco s3 and the main differences I noticed were. Positives - how light this is to use, how well it does edges, gets under furniture and how it leaves the floors barely wet. Negatives - needs a few passes to mop fully, no alert for water tank empty, dirty tank full or head clogged, so you need to keep a close eye on it and watch water levels and suction/ mopping performance.
Absolutely fabulous vacuum, my floors were mopped once a week and I thought they were clean until my cleaner used the Bissell and saw the dirt that collected. It cleans the floor spotlessly and does not leave the floor wet. Show details

design is as shown, clean cuts, compact and easy to use. I opted for the cord version as there are also cordless but at a certain time limit. Set up is quite easy. Fill the water container, and yes needs to be hot water. Does recommend 60 degrees but I’m currently using 50 degrees with no issue. The temperature does play a role as cold water won’t work. It will leave streaks of water everywhere. The heat also acts as a dryer to the cold tile. Does come with floor cleaner solution ( sample size : approx 3 uses), can also be purchased from big stores. Use as if using a vacuum cleaner, back & forth. It you have a stubborn spot, simply idle over to remove. Noise wise, about same as a vacuum cleaner, not uncomfortable. In refilling tank, this varies on the floor condition. Again, as shown in photos, I allowed my floors to this level to compare the use. My kitchen is 6 x 5 m2 - needed to refill twice for this purpose. Overall in cleaning my required space - Kitchen, Bathroom, Laundry need 3 - 4 refills. During refills, I also cycle the cleaner function to freshen the roller. You will see the difference in the water catcher on depth of roller status being clean or dirty.
Time frame on floor being wet/dry is almost instantaneous. Again, this is why the water temperature is a factor. You can step on cleaned surface within 30 seconds.
A note to first time users. When the water levels in the dirty tank reaches a certain level, there will be a daunting noise sounding like blockage. This will definitely inform you to empty the tank to further use the machine. IT WILL NOT FUNCTION IF NOT DONE. Apologies for upper letters, came as a shock to me the first time it happened so don’t be alarmed.
Will I recommend- YES. Great for price and most definitely what it is designed for. Easy to use, long cord to move with ease. Hassel free. Very easy to maintain.

today with my Shark steam & scrub and all it was doing was spreading dirty water around the floors, after a bit of research I went and bought this Bissell. The water going into the dirty tank was brown. It came with two small bottles of floor cleaner. I didn't think I'd get much mopping done because of the small size of the clean and dirty water tanks, but was highly surprised when I got nearly all my small house done off one tank of water and cleaning solution. The floor sanitising solution smells really nice too. I suffer with pain in my back, shoulders, arms, hands & legs so mopping is always a painful chore. It is a little on the heavy side, but I found so long as I was careful and didn't rush, it didn't cause me any pain. The floors were not left really wet and were dry within minutes on a 12 degree Celsius day. The self clean function is really good, has a nice long power cord. I wish it had a slightly longer or extendable handle and it is rather loud and noisy. I am finally done with mop shopping, the Bissell Crosswave is the one for me.
Follow-up · I still do a quick vacuum first before mopping, I have 2 long haired dogs so find so long as I vacuum the balls of dog hair that has accumulated in corners and behind doors the Bissel copes fine with pet hair. Love the corded Bissell CrossWave HF2 – I love my Bissell CrossWave HF2. I love that it has a cord. It is the main reason why I bought it. I have a large house with mainly hard surface floors (tiles and hybrid floors) so the battery powered cleaners usually only last 30 minutes and it takes me longer than 30 minutes to clean my floors. refill constantly during a clean. Love that it has a self clean function. Everything is easy to put back together after emptying the dirty water container and filling the clean water container. Love the smell of the pet sanitiser formula. I have only had it a week but have used it daily and love it so much more than my steam cleaner I usually use.

the physical dings accumulated over the years. I passed it over about 3-5 times in each area as it was the first time. I also vacuumed normally first to get rid of the basic stuff. I used the Bissell cleaner liquid that came in the box. It puts down just enough liquid to clean but then vacuums 90% of it up straight away so the floor is dry in a minute or too. This helps avoid footprints as you clean. Unlike mopping, as it puts down clean water/cleaning fluid, rolls it and then sucks the dirty stuff away, you don't tend to just move the grime around. With a hand mop, that is hard to avoid as the water gets dirty. The head is about the size of a vacuum head so if you have a big room it takes time but then again, it is not a professional unit. The roller's own spinning pulls the unit along a bit which makes it easy to push along.
I don't have pets and the base house is reasonably clean but the floor certainly needed a clean and polish.
