Terrible vacuum cleaner – Had this vacuum cleaner for more than a year. The suction power is very low, can’t even pick up bread crumb. Not to mention that the handle stick broke twice. Luckilyfor me Bissel customer service was very helpful and sent me one ( vacuum was still under warranty) Anyway I won’t recommend to anyone Show details
Great concept but has problems – As the vacuum it is used daily, it gets plenty of use. Parts for the unit are hard to get and I believe it out of production, and most times we had to fix or re-engineer to keep the Vacuum going. The following is a list of problems had : The wheels have axles that are plastic on plastic and wear to the point that they lean and rub and become very… Read more
hard to push. The wires from the vacuum to the foot are not flexible enough and break off under the insulation. The flexible pipe from the head becomes hard and cracks, allowing the vacuum to bypass the head . The main vacuum motor has a bearing at one end and a bush at the rear and the bush wears out and caused much noise and loss of power. The flexible hose in the head has gone hard and has cracked in many places , I replaced it with a coil spring covered in fabric tape and now it has the suction back.
Knowing it’s shortfalls , I would buy another one as I know they are fixable. ,but I can’t find any new ones for sale.
started off well but in the end poorly made – good battery life, reasonable suction, but when I first got it I thought it didn't look or feel well made because everything was made of plastic. However it worked well enough. After about 18 months of use though it has died. First the little plastic wheels on the bottom wore out so that they splayed out and it was very hard to push it around… Read more
because the bottom was scraping on the floor. Really need some bearings here not just pop in plastic wheels.
However, now the rotating brush in the head has stopped working. I took it apart to see and the wires have broken right where they go from the body through the swivel and into the head. Badly designed. They were always going to break here. Looks like its been designed to only last just out of warranty.
I won't buy Bissell again, I don't trust them now
No worth the price – Worst vacuum ever. After one year the handle stick broke down. no answer from customer care. Tried couple of times to contacted them but end up with no answer. The power suction is very bad. It doesn’t even suck bread crumbs. Try to clean the car with it but the motor is too weak for every task. Also the edgereach option is useless since the motor… Read more
doesn’t have enough power to vacuum corners or tiny spaces. I paid 350 $ for this vacuum cleaner and I’m not satisfied at all with this product
So easy to use – I had the Cordless Bosch before which broke. The product is not available anymore so The Bissell Multireach was suggested. I like this vacuum cleaner even more than the Bosch. Its more flexible and due to the little brushes attached the the power brush it even can reaches all the edges and corners. You also can remove the hand vaccum for a quick… Read more
clean in the car or so. This product has lots of attachments, like a stick with brush to clean stairs or walls.. Its Lightweight, relative easy to clean and the battery last forever before recharging.
After vacuuming you might think the container is still empty, but the Dust/ Dirt is compacting out of eyesight, so always check the back of the dust container. Unfortunately this model is very noisy Not really good on our Rug.. We are lucky we have only Tiles, except 1 Rug.....Its a very fluffy one maybe thats the problem...
Starts out 5 star - then downhill from there – I loved the Bissell MultiReach when I bought it 7 months ago - good suction, lightweight, great battery life and so easy to use. Unfortunately, now 7 months later the suction is terrible, even on full charge, dust backs up and keeps the rubber seal open spilling it back out even when the barrell is not even 1/3 full. Battery life is still good, but the suction is so bad it has been rendered useless. Very disappointing, what a waste of money. Show details
Very impressed! – After thorough research and ambivalence about which brand, model & type of vacuum cleaner I wanted, I finally took the plunge and ordered this one, hoping that because I have another product by Bissell that I wouldn't be disappointed. I loved it instantly. The suction is very powerful, the cordless factor makes it easy to maoeuver in tight spots… Read more
and not having to worry about the length of a cord or concerned that I might trip or the cord becoming tangled is a freedom I love, having never owned a cordless vacuum before. The battery is quick charging and lasts for ages, something that weighed heavily in my choice as most cordless vacuums I found when researching had very little run time.
I use this vacuum downstairs (entirely tiled floor) everyday and also vacuum my shaggy 2m x 1m rug in the process. I ocassionally vacuum upstairs and it doesn't falter there either! I have a cat & multiple kids so the downstairs floors benefit greatly from a daily vacuum and I'm always impressed, it picks up so much fur and dirt! I've had this vacuum for 6 weeks now and clean it thoroughly after each use to keep it in top condition. maintenance of the vacuum is easy and quick, brush head is simple to remove. I love that the filter is washable.
I only just used one of the extension brushes a few days ago and I'm again very impressed. There is no loss of suction and it's awesome being able to reach trapped fur and dirt inbetween appliances and under the couch crevices. The edge-reach feature is awesome as it picks up from all sides, not just at the front/back.
I also love the 2 way folding handle, it makes cleaning much easier being 31 weeks pregnant without straining my back or hips from having to repeatedly bend or sit on the floor to reach under tables and strain my joints and stretched muscles getting back up.
Highly recommend this incredible vacuum & this experience has just further cemented my love for Bissell as a brand.
EXTREMELY HAPPY! – I decided to wait a year before writing this revue. After an Electrolux with battery failure and a returned overpriced Hoover that was useless, I chose the Bissell Multireach and love it! It has not missed a beat, really powerful, never runs flat, easy to clean, lightweight AND cleans right to the edges! I only have hard floors and a few rugs but it handles both beautifully. Highly recommended. Show details
Happy Customer – Very happy; considered several options but decided to go with the Bissell due to consistently good online reviews and concerns about other brands batteries. It does the job with ease!! Recommended! Show details
Fabulous chargeable vacuum – Bought this a month ago a very powerful rechargeable vacuum, the best I have bought. I bought it because I had previously purchased a bissell crosswave 2 years ago and found it brilliant. The quality of the build of the Multireach vacuum is the same and I was impressed with this, the power is adjustable, great on carpet and hard floors. Vacuums to the edges, I’m very impressed.
