Terrible – Brought this unit on the 24th July, 2008. Have had it repaired at least three times. They gave me a new one broke down the second time I used it. The company is very bad for spare parts ( no leads for the unit in Australia so repair person placed another lead on machine form another shampoo machine), this repairer does not service these machines due to customer abuse because of service from Bissell and unit itself. When working does a good job. Kept breaking down (just stops working).

Terrible – Ok, I bought a bissell 9400-f proheat turbo from Godfreys about 18 months ago (20-12-2009)...Since then it has been sent away for warranty work 3 times, and been sent warranty replacement parts twice. This time the brush bracket broke...I lost the original receipt, Godfreys have upgraded their computer syystem and coan't send me a replacement receipt, and bissell apparently, don't keep a record of their warranty work, so now I will have to pay extra money for the replacement parts. I paid $800 for the machine, and expected reliability at the least...I will pay for these parts, but I guarantee that I will buy a replacement machine from my tax return, and I will sure as hell never buy another bissell product, nor recommend them to friends, relatives etc. Currently I am saying "They do a good job when they work...but they rarely work". Does a good job when working properly...but rarely works properly expensive, hard to clean unit (lots of fiddly places stinking mud sticks), easily broken plastic parts, washers used where bearings should be in brushes, heater clogs easily, extremely expensive cleaning solutions, poor reliability,

Bissell..Poor design! – Purchased 15 months ago, used about 6 times, now no suction and plastic parts appear to have shrunk! Possibly from the heat. Poor design. Paid over $600...Still under warranty, I'm calling them first thing Monday!! Cleaning solution expensive, poor parts
