Great little shampooer – I bought this shampooer over 6 months ago and to date have been very impressed with it. In fact my partner was so impressed she went out and bought one for herself as well. The unit is easy to use. The water tank in which you add detergent easily detaches from the top of the shampooer by releasing the top handle. It comes with a convenient quality storage bag for all the various head tools which include a 3-in-1 tool, deep cleaning tool, and hose cleaner. The AC power cable is of tough quality and stores easily by winding and clipping onto the side of the machine. So far I have used this on kitchen fabric chairs (I have cats so they can get quite messy with both hair and stains), my car interior and carpet, and floor rugs. It is a bit loud but not overly so. There are a number of various Bissell branded detergents available for it and it comes with 2 different type sample bottles. The unit has a 2 year manufacturers warranty. Of course this is a 'spot' cleaner so not for use on large carpet areas for example, but it would be excellent on things like mattress stains. I find for really bad stains its best to spray the area first with a carpet or fabric stain remover and let it sit according to the instructions on the bottle. You can then go over the area with the spray only (not making contact with the cleaning head), let it soak for a minute or 2, then give it a good going over with the head cleaning tools which come with scrubbing bristle heads. I recommend this appliance and would buy one again.
