Awesome product. Took a bit of time to use (but it was an extremely filthy sofa). Saved me about $800 on a professional cleaner. Show details ·  1

I highly enjoyed using this spot cleaner, though it was very hard to buy considering how cheap it was I'm not surprised! It was so powerful it got paint out of my carpet, do yourself a favour and get one Show reply

My son purchased this machine to do the lounge. The spot cleaner is very is to use. A tip for you: start off with light pressure when spraying the water/low foaming product. The spot cleaner uses minimal water depending on how much something needs to be cleaned. It is suggested to use a low foaming product, we purchased Britex Low Foaming… Read more ·  1

Upholstery Cleaner 500ml. This works very well.

It is important to follow the instructions including cleaning up the components of the machine and allowing them to dry thoroughly before reassembling it.

The one suggestion I do have to improve the spot cleaner is to add noise cancelling headphones. When you are using the spot cleaner you are very close to the motor. And it is loud.

Excellent job. Larger tank – Bought for a few coffee food and pet stains in the car, decided on the $119 one not 99 as you have to empty the dirty water less often. Photos don't really do it justice, still wet in places. Pro Tip... Don't put carpet shampoo or cleaner in the clean water tank, use a separate spray bottle for that (with water) , and leave the clean water tank… Read more ·  2

for rinsing. That way it won't glug up the trigger mechanism and hose and stop it working. That happened a lot to customers who bought spot cleaners from Godfreys when I worked there - so forewarned is fore-armed. Suck up some clean water to rinse out the suction hose after use and rinse dirty water tank well. Leave to dry before you put it away. Don't completely soak seats etc, use less water than you think...

Good. Glad I decided on buying it – I have a dog that have been messing up small section of carpet. I tried cleaning using various of cleaning products but still wasn't satisfied. I purchased Anko Spot cleaner and it cleaned carpet back to how it was. Model I'm reviewing is not same as one here but latest one which cost $119. It has longer cord and possibly upgraded features but I… Read more ·  1

can't compare to $99 unit as I haven't used it earlier. I had choice so decided on $119 unit.

One of photo is comparison of area that was cleaned, and result of dirty water tank (YUK!!) This is high traffic section thats mostly in low light area and I been neglecting it and was surprised to see how bad it really got.

Certainly worth the money I spent and I couldn't justify spending more on other brands as it was just a small section that needed to be cleaned. Hope this helps. Have lovely day.

Noice – Great value for the money you pay. I have a dog that is always shedding and this seems to really pick up those pesky hairs in the carpet. Suction could be a little stronger but all in all a great purchase. Show details ·  1

Very Happy with unit – I got this to clean the sofa, and small rugs. I didnt have any problems with it but I did notice that if you move the unit to much while cleaning you will lose suction, but that is a fail safe action to stop overfilling the dirty water tank. It was pretty self intuative to use. My first clean was a grubby sofa and I am well pleased with the… Read more ·  1

results, and definitly worth the money. Tomorrow its onto the grubby rugs. Not sure how my dog would tolerate the pet cleaning attachment but thats for another day. A good unit definitly worth the money .

Great cleaner for car carpets – Real neat unit, very happy with it. $99 Free delivery from eBay which actually came from my local kmart store. Go to [Brand Removed] and buy there Rugdoctor carpet cleaner 2L $23 It also supposedly has a protectant Anyway you will only find it near there hire shop section for the carpet cleaner hire, not in the cleaning section which you will find more expensive cleaners for less liquids. Show details

Cleaned well a 20-year-old cream-coloured fabric sofa – I needed to clean a 20-year-old cream-coloured fabric sofa and it worked incredibly well. The Anko Spot Cleaner cost $99 + $12 same day delivery from Kmart. I used proper pre-treatment and low-foam Bissell products (found at JB HiFi). It took a while to understand how to spray properly, use the brush, and suck out all the moisture without flooding… Read more ·  1

the sofa or dripping excessively on the floor. The sofa had stains and too much fluff/dust/hair stuck in the fabric to be removed without some energetic brushing. The outcome was amazing, the dirty water coming out of the tank was scary. Minor negatives: the tanks are small and needed frequent refill and emptying. The manual has virtually no cleaning instructions, but YouTube helped me there. The hose is a bit short.

Kmart Spot Cleaner is the best! – UPDATE 5/9/25 Still working as new. A great little Cleaner! After buying the Bissell Spot Cleaner in 2024, and returning it because the suction was not good, this is one is an amazing machine. I have a puppy and I leave this Cleaner in a place that's easy to grab and clean any mishaps immediately. It not only sucks up the urine, it leaves the… Read more ·  1

carpet cleaner than before. It can be used on everything, dog beds, lounge, car seats, mattresses, fabric chairs - you name it. I'm always fascinated with the dirty water it vauums up. It's like mud. Small enough to whip out in an instance. Again, another great machine from Kmart for $100!!
