Bissell SpotClean Turbo AutoMate 1558X

Our Bissell Spot cleaner Model: 1558X Kept leaking water and after replacing the clean water screw on cap valve it still leaked like a sieve, I decided to pull the machine apart as I was curious what the problem might be, well to my amazement it wasn’t a hose leaking. It was the plastic pump that had split in its housing and the water was pouring out of it. What annoys me is we pay good money for a product that should last especially when we’ve hardly used it and for a pump housing to split like that it tells me it’s built cheap and nasty, I won’t ever buy Bissell again
