good for daily use but battery life is a problem – purchased it 1 year 4 months ago and battery was dead last month! could keep the charge only for 1 min! its an ok vacum for daily use but leaves a lot behind. luckily warranty was 2 years and I got a refund,but should a product life cycle be 1 year and couple of months? definitely NO!! i am going to buy another stick vacuum cleaner ,but that wont be a B&D for sure  Show details

Was hoping for a better product – For the price I was expecting a little bit more as it is not a very powerful vacuum at all. It does get some dirt but has very little suction power and struggles to do a small tiled area. When I go to use the smaller vacuum that is attached in my car it is a huge waste of time as it collect little to no dirt.  Show details

Great little cordless vacuum cleaner – So glad the salesman suggested this vacuum cleaner. Its light to carry around but has great suction on it. Cleans my tiles and carpets really well. I also like that it detaches to you can use it as a hand held vacujm without the long nozzle (great for cleaning cars, etc).  Show details

Good Stick Vac – For a lightweight vac it is good,Love the way the dust buster part detaches from the stick.The good it is light and easy to use with good battery life.The bad it is awkward to place on the charger.Suction leaves a lot to be desired.Would I buy another? Best stick vac – This stick vac is awesome, I can get around the house with ease. Sucks up the dog hair easily and is great when you don't feel like getting out the big vacuum. I like how you can use the dust buster in the car and on furniture. I would recommend this stick vac to anyone.  Show details

They should probably stick to making drills! – Firstly the good points. Love the long battery life. Love the "back to base" clip-in recharge stand. Love that the weight is all at the floor end as I have back/neck/arm problems and can't manage the "dyson" type stick vacuums that have all the weight at the hand end. BUT! the most important thing is suction, and this machine has absolutely NONE. It seems to rely on the brushes throwing dirt up in to the brushes which fling it into the dust container. Anything heavier than fluff will eventually fall back out on to the floor when you turn the machine off or lift it up to see what the noise is all about!

The removable hand held part is also a pain in the proverbial as it needs an extra attachment (stored in the back to base part) as the actual bottom is a wierd shape that will not run along skirting boards etc. This is highly inconvenient when all you want to do is detach the handheld section, run along the skirting board and then reattach to keep on doing the floor. What is one supposed to do with the extra piece? hold between your teeth maybe?

In summary, if the Good Guys had the same kind of "no argument" returns policy as Aldi, this thing would have been returned within 2 weeks. As it is, I can't think of anything acceptable to management so I'm stuck back to my full size "plug in" vacuum for any kind of job - even quick touch ups :(
