there are no longer parts available. Unfortunately we don't have the receipts and without these there is nothing I can do except throw it in the bin!! So there goes more virtually brand new appliances to land fill. So disappointing. Obviously B&D knows there is a problem with this model - there is no denying it is a Black and Decker whether I have the receipt or not yet they won't stand by their product unless you have a receipt. Very disappointing & annoying.

Rubbish two broken handles – I purchased the steam mop and after a few months used the handle broke just below the cable clip. The retailer Godfeys replaced the mop with no argument. A few months later the mop broke again at the exact same point as previously, the retailer would not change the mop again claiming that Black & Decker were now dealing with guarantee issues… Read more

directly, not a surprise. There is obviously a serious fault in the design my advice is don't buy.The appears also no opportunity on the B&D web site to register a complaint.

The best steam mop – We purchased this steam mop after a recommendation from a friend who loves hers. Had ours now for a year and find it excellent so thought I would review it as no one had done so when I tried to research this brand. Recently had a warranty issue and Black & Decker were wonderful about replacing the item.

*New B&D models out now that could even be better. Exceptional cleaning ability, no chemicals. Best to purchase on sale if possible, a little over priced at full retail.
