Black & Decker STC1820PC-XE

Rubbish – How can this rate so highly, mine must ne broken and takes several passes to cut grass to length, am throwing it away.

Works really well, but could do with some enhancement – Considering the size of my house block I probably should have gone with a more powerful trimmer but this model had some great, and justified, reviews. It's a very light weight battery operated 18V unit which does the job, but despite it's light weight, it would be a lot easier to use if the unit could be be locked when running, and if it had a shoulder strap. I'm a fairly fit women of considerable height, but I find it very tiring and hard on my hands keeping the trigger squeezed, and it does get heavy with continuous use.
