Waste of money. Failed within months. Was using Blackvue sd card, as requested by blackvue. I then spent a lot of money on another pro branded sd recommended by blackvue on their support page. Failed within weeks. Unit keeps rebooting when driving. New cards work as the should for a short while and back to rebooting. What a waste of a lot of money. DON'T BOTHER WITH BLACKVUE - EXPENSIVE AND RELIABLY UNRELIABLE. Disappointing blackvue, but the reality is that the company is the same as so many other companies, supplying questionable products. I really hope blackvue gets the same problem as their product provided me - reboot. Maybe the cloud based recording systems function fine (maybe) but sd card units have a 100% failure rate for me. In summary, I have an expensive dashcam system that can't be relied upon to capture the one thing it's supposed to capture - nice. Thanks blackvue, will done. I'm happy to get my money back, I'll happily send this glitchy unit back in exchange for my money. I should have searched product review prior to purchase - a must these days. Here's BlackVue's retort... you won't believe it... We actually hadn't asked you to spend more money, rather we wanted to explore options to help you. We offer a refurbished replacement service where units of this age can be sent to us and we can replace them, we normally charge $180 for these replacements but I was going to be happy to waive that free and provide a postage paid label to send it in to us and we can see if we do have one available to replace yours with when we get it. However some transparency first that a refurbished replacement would be of a similar age and it still would not have the lifespan of a new unit, therefore I can't guarantee the lifespan you'll obtain from such a remedy, I also can't guarantee that we will have replacements available at the time we get your unit, since these units were discontinued some time ago we've had a dwindling supply for some time. But, I'd like to help however I can.... Could you please send through your proof of purchase or receipt from that purchase? You might have bought it new to the best of your knowledge two years ago, but the unit really is quite old. 3 years ago Australian dealers were selling the DR770X, that means since when the DR750S was last manufactured, we released the DR750X, then the DR750X Plus, then the DR770X, and approximately a year after the release of that you bought that DR750S, that is surprising to me and the team here, yes, we would not purport it to be new at all. You wrote "What are you really offering me and more importantly, why are your products being sold as "new" when there are 6-9 years of age? That's ordinary but it is something rates should know - don't you agree?" It's not BlackVues choice when or through whom units are sold, we act a wholesaler here in Australia, realistically if a retailer were to buy a unit from us now and choose to sell it ten years from now, that is at their discretion, and at the discretion of buyers who may wish to purchase the given product. In another way, if I were to buy an iPhone today, keep it, but sell it in 5 years time, it's not within Apple's purview to stop me from selling that item. I hope that clarifies. To my knowledge it's in nobodys interest to retain old items though, that's why there are sellout sales on old stock so that it can be used up and new stock can be brought in.... You can pass it onto Product Review at your discretion if that's your prerogative, my prerogative is just to help you how I can. We try and be an open book and help everybody in Australia where we can. You mentioned you paid $800, 2 years ago, the image you've attached shows $729 about 15 months ago, do you happen to have a receipt that mentions the product you bought by name? May I ask if you've spoken with your retailer about this? What was the outcome?

The Best Dash Cam Ever – A great compact and easy to use dash cam. I've had others and nothing comes close. You wont go wrong with one. The quality of the picture and the sound is outstanding. Mine's mounted in a Hot Rod and I love how you can rotate the footage as it had to be mounted upside down on the dash itself.

Works well – Easy to use app and great footage from the camera. I’m able to view the cameras from the app when the vehicle is in wifi area and keep an eye on the car.
