I'd like to address some points mentioned in your review. The DR970X-2CH does indeed come equipped with a built-in GPS module that records GPS data and stores it within the recordings. It seems there might have been a misunderstanding regarding the cloud functionality.

The cloud menu you accessed may display default settings when the camera isn't cloud-connected, which includes showing a map of America. However, upon cloud connection and usage, it should update with the camera's last known GPS location.

It's important to note that the GPS tracking feature does require a plan for full functionality. Nevertheless, all GPS data is stored within the video files and can be retrieved accordingly.

If you encounter any challenges connecting the device to the cloud server, our support team is readily available between Mon-Fri, 9AM-5PM WAST on 1300 967 777 to provide further assistance. Additionally, for seamless cloud connection via the CM100GLTE module, setting up a SIM card through the app is necessary. We're more than happy to guide you through this process.

Hi Chaim , I bought it because it says free LTE connectivity module on the box so i can use active simcard to active cloud service otherwise I would simply choose lower module or stick with iroad (current).

Hello Pradip, Have you activated the SIM card side through the app yet? Even with the free cloud plan, the CM100GLTE module and SIM card will enable remote access to your camera's recordings, settings and live view.

In a first place , the LTE module wasn’t include in my package.

Hello Pradip, The promotion you mentioned was conducted last December, during which stores were supplied with free modules to distribute at the time of purchase.

If you haven't received the module as expected, please email us a copy of your receipt to support@blackvue.com.au This will enable us to investigate the matter with the store and provide direct assistance to resolve this issue.

Overheats and continuously restarts at 26 degrees – Overheats and automatically restarts when the temperature is 26 degrees after a few days from the purchase. Opened a return ticket with Blackvue, the processing time quoted was 28 business days.

Hi Samoda, Thanks for reaching out to us and sorry to hear of the issues being experienced with your system. For the camera to be continually restarting it would indicate that there is a fault with the system. Considering the age of your unit this would be classed as DOA and would be replaced once it has been received.

The automated message advising that claims can take up to 28 business days, do take into account for out of warranty claims and older models that require physical repairs. However re reading the message we can see how this can be misconstrued and will get this adjusted to be more clear for future customers.

I have found your returns form and will reach out directly so we can have the unit returned and replaced under a DOA warranty. If there are any concerns or questions please let us know.
